chapter one

//TRIGGER WARNING - CAR CRASH!

john laurens was a 17 year old high school student, his life was perfect..

til he got into a car crash..

one moment he was jamming out to music, yet being cautious and keeping his eyes on the road then the next he knows, his car was slammed against three other cars. his legs were completely crushed and blood was filling his lungs.

he wasn't gonna make it.. yet the doctor still put him in the ambulance and still tried to save his precious life..

one doctor held his hand, trying to calm him down before he passed.

it's been two years since that incident, john was now 19. he sat on the head of lady liberty and stared down at all of the people.

people who came here for a new life, people who came here to make memories with their loved ones.. all kinds of people.

but the one person he was looking for was his assignment. he had tan skin, chocolate brown eyes and raven black hair that was usually in a ponytail.

once he found the man, he flew down to the ground of liberty island and purposely bumped into the man.

human couldn't see angels wings so he wasn't worried at all.

“oh sorry, i didn't see you.” John mumbled.

“that's alright, but try not to fall again, unless you're falling for me,” the browned eyes man chuckled. “i'm kidding. i'm alexander and you are?”

“john,"

alexander nodded. “well john. can i take you to get some food? you look hungry.”

“oh, uhm.. sure.” john nodded, smiling.
