She could see their feet move under the door, Shino did his best to chat them up. Her eyes glowed prepared for instincts to take over in flight or fight. Remaining still as they talked the tension Jane felt was high.

"We saw something unusual activities and wanted to check with locals if they saw anything."

"Well Ive been out for a couple strolls but nothing major."

"Have you had any company?"

"Neighbors stop by most every day. I live alone."

"You wouldn't mind taking us on a tour of your house would you?"

"Not at all, come I'll show you my study."

"Why is every door open except for this one?"

"I use it for storage."

Backing up Jane made a portal to just outside the house and ran. Ran as fast as she could while staying out of sight of the jet. Soon one of them would catch up but it needed to be just as she reached the tip of the island. Life around her sounded off, the sun was going to rise in a couple of hours. Soon someone would catch her. Birds could be heard in the far distance. Soon she would be caged. The trees swayed as the wind picked up. Soon her wings would be clipped. Energy flickered trying to start a fire within with wet logs still soaked from yesterday's rain. Soon instincts would take over.

The beating drum of her foot against the dirt road could be heard. Not wanting to look back for any reason because she already heard the whirlwind of jets taking off. Her breath steadied at a pace as she gained speed. The mountain was covered in thick soup-like fog, a place to lose the trail. Approaching the village boarder where forest starts she veered off the path and into the deep, dark forest. The current still short circuits but got better with each small attempt. It was progress and that's all that mattered. In the moment she didn't need to use it but if she did and nothing worked then and only then would things go south.

Starting to climb in elevation through the vines and maze of thick, sturdy trees the humidity felt thick. There was green all around and if stopped to take a look it was like a whole new world. Exotic green and bright colors of poison oils be spotted. But Jane didn't dare to slow down. So close to the trail. She needed more ground. The maze around her grew more complicated, the trees became thinner but taller, vines wrapped around everything and roots stuck out of the ground like infections. So close to the base of the mountain. She needed to gain more speed. Like water she weaved in between the trees trying to throw them off the trail. She didn't know how far she had gone nor who followed her.

Jane arrived finally at the edge. She could see miles of water ahead. However, she stood on a cliff, not a nice, flat beach. The waves crashed fiercely as it clawed away rocks with each swell. If she got caught in it surely she'd get slammed into the sharp rocks below. She knew what was coming if she didn't and now wasn't the time to have fear take over.

Hero's have fear but were brave enough to over come it.

Backing up she placed her feet firmly into the ground. Giving the energy one last try to have the connection unblocked and charged off the side and into the sharp rocks below with eyes closed.

It was calming to feel the breeze flow through her fur, the smell of salt infiltrated her nose. Exhaling slowly a wave of calm flowed through her. Her arms were pinned against her side and she was straight like an arrow. Her pupils sharpened and she disappeared in blue flames.

All around her was water, one hand in front of her before jumping to the next portal. Interchange hands as though it was as natural as running. She felt like the ocean and her were one, calm but fierce, cold but warm, strong but flexible and above all full of potential. They protect, they destroy, they explode, they mute.

But the peacefulness died off as quickly as it begun. Suddenly the salinity in the air made her sick. Jane felt like she'd drop off the world.

Who was Namir? Could he still be trusted? Why did he chose Russia? Is he even still alive? What if he dies before she gets there, what then? The league won't give up so how will she deal with them? How did they even find her?

Her eyes widened as she saw a smaller island to rest. Landing there she ran the same amount of energy to disable and destroy technology, if she had any tracking device this would be the end of it. It was a little speck that burned through her skin. Throwing it into the ocean she covered it with some leaves to prevent at least some infection. Looking at the bandages on her they appeared clean so she continued towards Siberia.

The current kept the temperature warm for a while but once she did finally reach the coast of Siberia she had no clue where to start. He had a cabin in a forest but that could be anywhere. Perhaps she'd need a different perspective, one that would include having a drink.
