Toro's POV.

It was late April, and I had just gotten home from school. I was only 10 at the time.

I ran to my room, and grabbed my tablet from my desk, and plopped on my bed.

I hit the power button, and went to YouTube, and clicked my favorite video. It was a video of Endeavor, saving a bunch of people from a burning building.

I thought he was awesome, and since he was practically made of fire, the flames didn't seem to have any effect on him.

I found this so cool. He was the second best hero in the world. But I saw him as the best. Number one.

"Yay, Endeavor, you rule! Hehe!"

I lied on my bed and stared at the screen. I loved him so much.

--------

About an hour later, my mom walked in. She had a sad look on her face, one I had never seen before.

"Toro, theres something wrong with your father." I could tell she was trembling, but I had no clue why.

"What do you mean mommy? What's wrong with daddy? Is he ok?"

I saw tears begen to flow down her cheeks. I didn't know what was going on.

What was happening. What was wrong with my dad, and why was my mom so sad?

She grabbed some of my clothes and my shoes, and puts them into a backpack. Then picked me up, and went to the car.

We drove for quite a while.

Until we stopped in front of the hospital. Why where we here? What about dad? I had so many questions.

My mom grabbed me and put on my shoes. I hoped out of the car, and took her hand as we walked in.

I looked around, confused, as she spoke to a woman at the front desk.

"Ok, thank you. Come on Toro, follow me." She seemed calm but I could tell, she was freaking out a bit, or, maybe a lot.

"Mommy, what's going on? Were is daddy?" I asked her in confusion, and I jogged to keep up with her down the hospital halls.

Until we got to a room, and she stopped and stared at it for a bit. Then slowly opened it.

The door creaked a bit, and the sight on the other side is one I would never forget.

In the bed, was my dad, lying there, with all sorts of machines around him.

"Daddy!"

I ran over to him and tryed to get into the bed, but my mom stopped me.

She picked me up, and held me so I could see him perfectly.

He looked, lifeless. Yet he was still breathing. What happened, was he going to be ok.

A million questions were flowing through my 10-year-old brain.

My eyes were filled with tears, and so were my moms.

He slowly opened his eyes, and looked over at me.

"Toro.........don't give up........on your.......dreams. You....... can become a hero. Dont let anyone tell you......otherwise. I....................believe......................in.....................you."

Those were the last words he said, before the line went strait, and I felt my heart break into a million pieces.

-1 WEEK LATER-

It had been a week since my dad died. But I still remembered the exact moment.

I tryed to forget it, but I could not.

All I could do, is do what he said, become a hero, and avenge the one who killed my father, and I wouldn't stop, until the guy was gone. No matter what the cost.

(A/N) Sorry this was a little short, the rest of them will be longer. Anyway, I hope your having a fucken awesome day. Peace 😉
