Flash fumed behind Parker, strutting up to him with his chest puffed out. Peter got ready for a fight, getting into a defensive stance.
"Okay what the fuck is going on shithead," he said, voice lowered to threatening levels. Peter imagined smoke rolling off of his attackers head, it wasn't hard really.
"I don't know what you mean Flash," Peter replied in hesitant smugness, holding back the urge to say something ruder (he didn't want to get into a fight at the tower... for Flash's sake.)
"YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN ASSHOLE!" Thompson almost screamed. Thor decided to step in, instantly casting a shadow over Flash with his towering figure.
Immediately intimidated, the boy stepped back with a worried glance towards his teacher. But even Mr. Harris, usually prideful and protective of the extremely shitty student (mostly because of the money his parents gave the school), looked ready to run at the dark spots that were cast over Thor's face.
"Now Thor, let's not intimidate the child." Natasha stepped out of the shadows clad in a white shirt and a shiny, black leather jacket. (At this point Flash had melted himself as far back into the mob of students as he could). Thor's expression switched like a Thanos snap, instant puppy-dog eyes and all.
"Natasha m'lady! My understanding was that I got more time with the chiiiiiild!" The god whined. Natasha however, had little pity, and ultimately decided to ignore the child-like Asgardian. Eyes scanning the crowd of students for Flash, the assassin used a voice hated by the entire tower.
"Listen here you little-" Peter, coming back to his senses jumped in front of the spy, not ready to watch a classmate die in front of him. "Are you trying to censor me?" Natasha continued to have a stone-cold face but the Parker boy could see a hint of laughter in her eyes (he hoped).
"Ha... ha, Nat you really shouldn't have! I suppose... everyone is gonna show?" Peter was nervous, she could tell but at this point? No remorse.
"Oh yes." She smiled. "We have shifts." Peter facepalmed. 'Oh my god how am I ever going to go to school again' he thought. 'Maybe I could just skip high school? Mr. Stark would probably pay for college... oh no Mr. Stark-'
"PEeEtEr!" The teen looked up from his lasting exasperation to see (and feel) Thor clap his hand on his back (probably breaking at least three ribs) and begin a farewell statement.
"Because of Natasha's presence, I'm afraid I'll have to bid you farewell young one. I wouldn't leave so soon if it wasn't in our rules." 'Oh great now there are rules?'
"Umm, yeah I will see you tonight?" Peter asked, blushing as he finally heard how quiet the rest of the room was... and how loud the stares were.
"Of course" Thor replied and finally, left the class in the company of Natasha.
"Well at least I can tell you that my shift is not going to be the worst," the spy said and the boy groaned. They turned towards the class. At this point, it seemed to be the best option to just ignore the stares.
