JOURNAL ENTRY 23/06/17

"A lie isn't what I thought it was. It ruins lives and kills, it breaks bond's and carries on. It leaves you all alone when it's finished it's work, and the shame, that's left behind, eats you alive. But, when you're a liar you become a lie. I wish I could say that I am not what I speak of, but sadly I am."

A memory in itself is like a trip through time. You've lived in that moment, but suddenly it's the past. Like anxiety for a certain thing, that anxiety disappears afterwards. Why? Because that experience is gone. But, when you remember that moment, can't you remember the feeling as well? The exact feeling. You relive it, why is it so real? What happens if your mind doesn't want you to remember that exact thing? You remember but you don't. But do you?

The beeping sound was getting really annoying now. The tiny frown increased greatly on Kim Taehyung's face.

It was slow, but constant and it was disturbing his good sleep. He was suddenly aware of the dull ache of pain in his upper back. Then his legs started this pulsating thing.

What was going on? Soon his whole body was hurting, and he had no choice but to open his eyes. A blinding white light caused him to close them again.

He let out a little groan while trying to push himself up, to no avail. He lay back there weakly, unable to move from his extremely uncomfortable position. "What the fuck?" He whimpered, a large grimace formed on his face.

A nurse wandered into the room, her face planted in a book. Taehyung wondered if she was even allowed to do so. "Hello?" He called out to her. He was not expecting the scream that escaped her mouth. She quickly apologised and covered her mouth, turning around and taking a few deep breaths.

When she turned back around there was a bright smile on her face. "You're awake I see? That's great! Mustn't have been to fun to almost die am I right?" Taehyung gave her a weirded out look and her smile considerably dropped. "Sorry...too soon?"

"What happened? And how the fuck am I going to pay the hospital bill. Christ!" Taehyung whined in a weak voice. The nurse's eyes widened, but she smiled again. "Now, you stay right here, okay?" She walked out of the room backing back slowly, with a reassuring look on her face. Taehyung nodded, still confused, but relaxed a bit.

He looked around a bit, despite the ache in his neck and saw how expensive his room looked. He also realised that there were a few balloons and cards, even a big box of what he assumed to be fucking chocolate, next to his bed. 'Did I die? Is this fucking heaven?' Taehyung wondered, a small excited grin on his poor tired face.

The nurse walked back in a few minutes later, this time with a doctor. "So? Since you're back...how the fuck am I going to be paying for all of fucking this? Did you assume that I'm rich because of that fucking cruise, because I won the tickets, no lie." The doctor laughed, while the nurse cringed.

"No son, the cruise ship paid for the injured people and even paid for high class hospital treatment. And your CEO sent you these gifts." Taehyung nodded, with his mouth in an 'O' shape.

"Is there any chance, I can maybe be discharged today?" The doctor just stared at Taehyung. It was getting awkward, so Taehyung decided to break the ice. "Insert shocked pikachu face." The nurse burst out laughing, tears threatened to escape her eyes.

"Doc, I think he's fine." The doctor turned to face the nurse, with a stern look on his face. "You of all people know the standard our hospital has, we can't just discharge a patient without checking them thoroughly." He scolded the nurse.
