Lucy sat down on the small stool near the storage cupboard as Edmund reached up to grab the first aid kit. He walked back over to his sister and knelt down, looking at her scraped knee.

"It may need a bandage, you cut it quite badly" Edmund said but looked up at Lucy "But it'll be better in no time" He said smiling.

Lucy grinned and nodded, knowing her brother was usually correct in medical circumstances. Once the bandage was in place, Edmund helped Lucy back onto her feet.

"Does it hurt to stand?" He asked and Lucy nodded

"A little, but nothing i can't handle" She said with a brave smile.

Edmund just shook his head, smiling. He didn't know where his sisters natural bravery came from sometimes. They walked to the door before Peter and Susans voices came into ear shot. Lucy went through the door and saw them both.

"Thank goodness you're alright" Peter said in a teasing voice when he saw Edmund and Lucy walk through.

"We went back outside and you both weren't there" Susan said "We should've guessed that you were somewhere in this huge house which would take forever to fully investigate" she said laughing a little and Edmund smiled slightly.

Peter's smile faded when he saw the bandage on Lucy's leg, he stood up and went over.

"Lu? What happened? Are you alright?" he said in a familiar protective tone.

"It's alright Peter, I'm alright" Lucy said, as happy as ever "Was trying to climb a tree and i skidded down after losing my balance. But Edmund got the first aid kit and helped me"

she said and Edmund just nodded.

"Where were you when she fell?" Peter asked.

"I was up the tree that she was trying to climb...she said sh didn't want me to be alone and i told her it wasn't a good idea and then she lost her balance" Edmund said, suddenly being caught off guard by a flash of frustration in Peter's eyes.

"You should've been keeping a closer eye on her" Peter said angrily.

"Pete...I didn't mean for it to happen...it was too quick for me to even..."

"For you to what? Get down from there and get over yourself?" Peter snapped "To make sure our sister didn't get hurt?"

Edmund's gaze drifted to the ground, Peter's words hurting him. He bit his lip and sighed.

"Peter...it's just a scratch" Lucy said quietly and Susan wrapped her arm around Lucy's shoulders.

"Peter, you're overreacting" Susan said, but Peter had his glare fixed on his brother.

"I expected more from you" Peter said and Edmund looked up at him.

"Of course you, you always do" Edmund snapped before walking out.

maybe returning from Narnia would be more difficult than he'd first thought. Being treated like a child and Peter acting older than he was, that was just old habits. He couldn't go back to the way he was, always angry at Peter.

"Peter, that was cruel and unnecessary and you know it" Susan said, keeping her anger as calm as possible for Lucy's sake.

"I know..." Peter said sadly as he sat down "I'm just adjusting back to all of this.....it's a lot..."

"it's a lot for all of us" Lucy said "And Edmund was struggling..."

"And you shouted at him" Susan said shaking her head "He was siting up that tree because he felt out of place and confused...because he's struggling just as much as we are"

Susan said and Peter nodded, sighing.

"I feel like we're all going backwards....or i'm just not controlling my anger. either way, i don't like it" Peter said. Lucy went over and hugged her brother, not wanting him to be sad either.

"We'll get through it Peter, you'll see" Lucy said as Susan hugged both of them tightly.
