《Elijah POV》

I watched as more pieces of paper fell out of my locker. Some of them being pink, some of them being red. I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Sup, Eli!" I turned and saw a blonde haired boy standing in front of me. I turned to look at the letters again, "Hey, Daniel." I said, and sighed.

I picked up all the notes and stuffed them all in my pocket, counting them as I picked them up one by one. 1...2...3...4...5- ...27 letters.. Guess I'll read them during class again. "More letters?" The blonde haired boy asked. I nodded in response. "Why won't they realize I don't feel like dating anyone. Not after what happened last time."

"You can't ignore everyone just because of that, Eli." He mentioned, "I'm aware," I said, glaring a little towards the blonde haired boy. "...and I don't."

"Well you seem to." He stated. I glanced past Daniel to see two boys walking our direction. One with shoulder-length straight black hair, and one with spiky black hair. Sero and Andrew. I see some pink hair popping up behind them. And Ashley.. The only people in this school who haven't fallen in love with me. (Along with Noah, but who the fuck cares about him?)

I grab everything I need and walk with them to class.

"Good morning everyone. Today we have a new student." Mr. Smith says, but I'm too busy reading the notes I got this morning to hear him. I see some glimpses of red hair. I glance up and see a red haired boy. He had hazel eyes just like mine.

Who is he, and why does he catch my attention. Suddenly, a loud voice filled the room. "Hey! My name is Aaron Johnson! I'm happy to make your acquaintance!" His voice boomed, being the only audible noise in the room.

I snorted, and went back to reading the letters.

Hey!! It's me. You can probably recognize me from my handwriting, one of the messiest in the school. But today is my last day and I was just wondering if you would do me a favor and respond? Locker 426 in hall 2 near classroom 6! I don't have a crush on you, but I would honestly like you to respond at least once...

~Noah

I flipped over to the backside of the paper and quickly wrote, Fuck. You.

Suddenly, I heard a voice boom into my ears.

"Is this spot taken?"

I looked up to see the new red headed kid asking if the seat next to me was empty. He looked so much better up close. "It is now." I said, with a little smile at the end.

What the hell is wrong with me?

"Thanks." He said, and set his stuff down on the floor and sat down in the seat.

Turned out, we were working on projects with a partner, and I ended up working with the new kid, Aaron. We met up after class to talk about how we were gonna do the project, and who's house we were going to.

We agreed to go to my house. We had 3 months to work on it, and winter vacation was next week. He decided to come to my house right after school was over. So basically, we would walk together.

Aaron ended up having only 2 classes with me throughout the day, so when the end of the day came, I got excited. I could tell we already would be very good friends.

We met up at the end of the day at the school entrance. We had conversations about random shit on the walk to my house.

We finally arrived at my house, and walked in, letting him come in after me. "Wow. Your house is huge!" He exclaimed. "Yep. Mom! I'm home! I have a friend over, so I'll be in my room, don't bother us we're working on a school project!" I shouted, I got an "OKAY!" in response my father is never home by the time I get home from college, so I didn't bother to mention him.

I looked at Aaron, and his eyes looked slightly teary, "You already consider me a friend!?" He said. "Don't take it personally."

We headed to my room to work on the project. And we did, for a few hours.

"This is boring." He said, "Lets do something different for a bit."

"Alright, anyth-" I started, but stopped myself before I could finish. "Hey, can I say something I've been wanting to say since our first class together?" He asked. "Sure, I'm not stopping you." I said, turning on the TV in my room. "You're very... pretty." He said.

Normally, I hated being called pretty, but hearing it come from him, it felt good.

I looked at him, my cheeks clearly a very bright pink. "Thank you, you are too.." I said, even though I couldn't believe those words were coming out of my mouth, I didn't want him to know I thought that.

He giggled a little, his face turning a light pink. "Hey, do you want anything to eat or drink?" I asked, getting up and heading toward the door. "Just some water and maybe some chips?" He responded.

"Okay, I'll be right back." I said, getting up and leaving to get some water and some chips.

I walked out and I realized, my father still isn't home. His shoes aren't by the door, and he's not sitting on the couch like usual. It was much later than he normally gets home. He normally gets home at 7:00, its currently 9:00. Speaking of, Aaron should probably go home soon. But he's so fun to hang out with, he's so cool and unique.

Wow, I never thought I would think that about anyone.

I grabbed the water and chips and headed back to my room. I opened the door, to see Aaron, asleep on the floor. He's so cute when he's sleeping.
What am I thinking?! I just met him today. I picked him up bridal style, put him on my bed, and took off his glasses as I pulled the covers over him.

I walked out of the room and went downstairs to the basement. I opened up the door to the smaller room. I opened it to reveal the candles, freshly lit, and my ex-boyfriends picture in it. I got close to crying.

I left the room nearly crying, and went back to my bedroom, forgetting that there was a sleeping Aaron on my bed. He had moved from his original position that he was in when I had put him on the bed. He's still adorable. I didn't stop my thoughts this time, I accepted that I thought that way about him. It's not like I have a crush on him or anything, we just met, so that's practically impossible.

I tried my best to get onto the bed without disturbing the sleeping boy, laying there. I had a hard time falling asleep, but I eventually did.

I woke up several hours later, at 5:30am, and was face to face with Aaron. And, I'm not gonna lie, he's prettiest face to face. Suddenly, his eyes were open. I immediately flipped over, so my back was facing him. I moved my hands up to my face to cover my blush. A little giggle escaped his lips.

"Good morning." I mumbled. "You too!" He said. I started getting out of bed, as he followed behind me. "Do you want anything to eat?" I asked as we walked out of my room.

"Of course I do! I fell asleep before you could give me my chips." Aaron stated. I looked at him, and basically stared until he noticed. "What, why are you staring at me?" He asked.

I looked away. "No reason, you're just adorable." I said, my face turning a slight pink.

Maybe this is my chance of love...?
