Chapter 3

" Answer me , what are you doing here and who let you in ?" I yell

" I miss you Abel .. I want to work things out with you , I've notice that since we broke up that I'm nothing with out you ." She says

" What do you mean ' we broke up' YOU broke up with ME . Don't try and flip shit ! You know what just get the fuck out -" interrupted in mid sentence by a painful moan in agony , I jog back to my room to see Dre in the middle of the floor crying gripping the bed sheets .

" who and what the fuck was that ?!" Rose yells from the living room she , Lamar and cash walk into the room to see what was wrong .

" we broke up 3 weeks ago and you already have a new bitch?!" She screams in my face .

" don't fucking call her that ! You don't know shit about her !" I spat back .

" I know she looks horrible & like shit." She says giggling

" alright , it's time for you to fucking go . " Lamar says dragging Rose out by her arm .

" I never liked your ass . So from me to you , get your Boney ass out ." Cash says adding his two cents. Snapping me out of my train of thought , Dre grabs on to my arm & begins to sob in my shirt .

" it hurts .. I'm gonna fucking die ."

" you're not gonna die , just relax and calm down ." I say smoothing back her hair . I never realized how long it was because she had it in a bun .

" what started your drug addiction Dre?" I ask

" coke ." She says through gritted teeth .

" why did you do it in the first place?

" I wanted something to get me out of reality . I didn't want to know that I was homeless or hungry . I didn't wanna know anything . "

" how did you get the money to get it ?"

" I stole it out of somebody's pocket when I was at a shelter a couple weeks ago . They were going ape shit cause they couldn't find it and I was going ape shit cause I finally found something that could take me to a dream world ." She says stuffing her face into my shirt again in pain .

" you probably think I'm the most pathetic person ever ." She says crying.

" you have to kick this habit okay? and I'll be here to help you every step of the way ." I say reassuring her . "Dre are you hungry ?"

" I want the pain to stop . Food isn't gonna help me ." She says muffled

" Just take a nap. I'll wake you up in a few hours ." I say , picking her up and placing her in the bed . I walk out the room & sit down on the couch & close my eyes . This is gonna be a long journey.

Abel's POV

I woke up next to Dre in my bed . She's been sleeping since 6PM Yesterday and it's now 12:34PM . I looks over at her small body . She kicked her sweatpants off and only left the large xo shirt on. I looked at her and she was sweating profusely from her forehead , I get up and grab a cold towel from my bathroom and began dabbing her forehead . I grab my phone and call Hyghly, he knows how to handle this drug shit. I've tried a lot of different shit in my day but hardcore shit like heroin and crack wasn't it. I began dialing his number but stopped as she began stirring in her sleep . She opened her eyes but quickly closed them as she began to hum a familiar tune . I continue to wipe her forehead with the towel as her humming slowly faded into light snores .
