POV: PARKER

„Do you think Tiffany would bang me?"
„Bro, no way in hell she would touch your 2-weeks-not-washed body."
Everyone started to laugh at Masons joke.
We always had a lot of fun before the rugby training in our changing room.
„So did coach told you something about the next game Mason? If we really play against the Hoaks, we will be winning for sure."

Everyone was cheering and shouting out of excitement.
„Hey, hey guys. Calm down. He didn't confirm anything yet, but I'm pretty sure the next game isn't so far from now."
Again everyone was hyping Mason up and cheering loudly. The only one who was not excited was me.

„Dude, you alright? You seem kinda off." Mason was asking me after everyone was already leaving for practice.
„I didn't hear from the music label yet. What if they didn't like my tape?"
„Parker, they would be stupid if they didn't liked it. Keep your head up the only think you should be worried about now is the coach. Come on, let's get on to the feld."
He smiled at me and reached out his hand. I smiled back at him. Mason always knew how to cheer me up.
He really was one of my best maids.

After practice the yearly speech of Mr. Gallord took place in our closed gym. The rugby team never really cared about it because every year, he said the same things over and over again as if he legitimately wrote it down on a piece of paper.
„I will see you guys at Abby's later right?" „For sure, see ya bro."
Me and Mason kept walking to the parking lot after everybody else was gone.

„Soooo Parker.." „What do you want now?" I was already expecting something terrible.
„Well, Hazel talked to me earlier and asked me if I could give you her number."
Not again.
„Mason, you know that I'm not interested in Hazel. I mean she isn't bad looking but I just don't feel like we get along and nevertheless I told you how I feel about dating."
Mason rolled his eyes. „Don't feel like we get along... dude you never even TRIED talking to her. How the heck do you know if she ain't right for you? Listen, I do understand your worries but just have fun. Just like me." He stuffs his elbows in my hips.

„You know, I'm actually pretty pretty happy with not being you. So let's keep it that way."
„Excuse me sir, what's that supposed to mean?" Mason gave me an confused look.

I laughed and said goodbye to him after we reached his car. „Drive safe, oh and don't try to miss me too much at Abby's."
„I'm already missing you eventhough you are in front of me Parker Baldwin."
We both laughed and he took off.

Suddenly I heared loud shouting inside the gym.
„Effort, were the fuck do you think we are? Elementary school? I could care less about what you want from me because it was never my decision to be here at the first place, barbie doll."
I tried to see through the opened windows and realised it was that girl Mason was being rude to earlier. Jane. Jane Capperfield. I mean, who doesn't know her.
She was really snappy toward that girl but I couldn't blame her, that cheerleader chick was a total bitch.
The next moment I looked I saw Jane all over that girl. Seconds after I saw what Jane acutally did to her. Not bad.

„First day of school and you already made a bigger entrance then our principal."
I waited for her reaction.
„How do you know? You weren't even in there."
She acknowledged me.
„Touchee but you can easily hear every single word from outside, especially when people scream at each other in there."
I smiled at her knowing that I was right.

I offered her a ride after she said something about a guy named Bob. Who the hell was Bob and what was his job?

„Ahm.. I can drive you home, you know."
„Ha, thats the last thing I would do Parker."
She remembered my name. Why did I feel so relieved and good about that?
„You know my name."

She started to run away from me but I just couldn't let her go that easily.
„Jane right?" of course I knew her name, I just didn't want to seem like a stalker.

„Don't be silly and let me drive you home. That's the only thing I can do after Mason behaved like an asshole to you this morning."
„Fine but I will drive."
What did she say??
„Ohhhhh noo way in hell that this is going to happen, sunshine."
She looked at me confused.
„For the record, I have a license, I just don't have money for a motorcycle right now, so don't worry and shut up."

She took my keys out of my hand and got on to my motorcycle and I didn't even fought back.

She was good. I mean controlling the bike and driving it. I was really impressed. She stopped it and was ready to leave.
„You live here?" I pointed at the massive house infront of us.
„Ha ha, I wish. My house is down the street, but I didn't want you to know, you know? I already have to many admirers I really don't need one more."
She smiled at me for the first time since we talked.
„Fine, but next time I'm going to find out were you live and then I'm going to bring you to school everyday."
„I said admirers, not creeps buddy."

She took her bag and smiled at me one last time. „Well....thanks I guess, for the ride eventhough I was driving myself."
„Anytime." I looked at her go.

I don't know what it was about her, but I liked her for some odd reason.
