[chapter one]

[taken place season 1x01; pilot pt2.]

the large spacecraft was in route to earth, sending the 100 juvenile delinquents to earth.

the constant shaking woke miracle up, her eyes wide open to see she's been strapped down in her seat.

"what the?" she tried to pull the seat belt off of her.

"are you insane? you want to die." someone's hand prevented her to remove the seat belt, turning her head to see her old friend wells, strapped next to her.

"wells?"

"welcome back to earth. well we're not there yet anyways, i thought you were never gonna wake up." he chuckled shyly.

she gave him a soft smile, glad to see she wasn't really alone doing this.

"miracle?" someone called out to her. she freaked out by that individual's voice.

she turned to see her other good friend clarke griffin, softly smiling at her.

"clarke! wait you guys are being sent to earth too?"

"considering we were all in the sky box, it seems like it." answered wells.  clarke, realizing who's also there, had a sour expression on her face.

"wells, what the hell are you doing here?" her voice filled with anger.

"when i found out they were sending prisoners, to the ground, i got arrested myself. i came for you." he answered back, hoping it changes clarke's tune, it didn't.

a crash, making the ship shake even more, making the other scream in fear if they'll even survive the ride.

"what was that?" clarke cries out.

"the atmosphere." said wells.

"does that mean we're getting closer-"

miracle gotten interrupted by the small screens playing a video.

"prisoners of the ark, hear me now. you've been given a second chance, and as your chancellor, it is my hope that you see this as not just a chance for you, but a chance for all of us, indeed for mankind itself." our chancellor, known as well's father, jaha spoke to us with words of encouragement.

"we have no idea what is waiting for us down there. if the odds of survival were better, we would've sent others. frankly, we're sending you because your crimes have made you expendable."

"your dads a dick wells!" someone shouted in direct towards wells.

laughter mocked towards wells as he turns his head away, ignoring them.

"those crimes will be forgiven, your records are wiped clean."

it seemed only the three of us are the only ones paying attention to jaha's message.

"the drop site had been chosen carefully. before the last war, mount weather was a military base built within a mountain. it was to be stocked with enough non perishables to sustain 300 people for up to two years."
