"Poor thing. ", I awoke to a voice filled with pity.

Slowly, I tried to raise my head. "Ouch!!"

"Stay still!", I rubbed my forehead. "W-what's going on?.. Who are you?" There was darkness around me, I couldn't see anything.

I could only take in the sound of the voice coming from my right which seemed to belong to a... Boy?

"I said KEEP STILL! ", I felt someone hit my head. He.. Hit me?!

" Oowww..~", moaned I in complete shock of the pain rushing through my scalp.

Suddenly, the darkness faded and I was able to take in my blurry surroundings.

A strange, elven boy was sitting beside me with a worried, yet annoyed expression.

"Save the questions for later, will ya? ", he wrinkled his forehead waiting for a reply. " Look, I'll call ma to look after ya again."

He lay down the blindfold and slowly stood up in an elegant sort-of way.

All I could do was stare, now my vision being miraculously cured, the being that stood there before me was a blue-haired, young-looking boy with a mixture of orange and yellow eyes. They were slightly slanted and he had a curved, pointy nose.

His skin was pale and flawless. Oh, how I wi-

"Ya like what ya see? ", he winked at me,

" I like seeing people with a smile on their face. You should wear one now and then. ", he grinned showing off his spotless, white teeth.

Something I hadn't known I was able to do happened, I sneezed.

" Oh ya, I completely forgot.! " I noticed that he looked around my age.

" MAAAAA!!? ",

he yelled with his back facing me.

" I'll see ya 'round!.. My name is K-", a small built but beautiful elven woman rushed herself into the room.

Brushing past the elven boy, she came towards me.

"Kiva? When did they wake up? Any signs of...?", she glanced at the boy whom I woke up next to.

He shook his head from side to side with his lips pressed together, tightly.

The woman looked back at me with concern and started to touch all over my body.

My skin had become so sensitive, every time her finger gently stroke my skin, it burnt.

"E-excuse me..", I managed to produce but with almost no audio.

"Speak up, child! ", she replied firmly, still examining my body. Now I lay on my back.

" How did I get here, if I may ask? "

She stopped for a while, released a short sigh and looked at me with pained eyes.

" If I knew.. ", she gave me a slight, but soft smile.

I took my gaze from her and looked around me, taking in the structure of the room I had been in.

It had wooden floors and walls that were designed with traditional painting from the East. They were stunning.

" Mam, did you paint these? "

No reply.

I turned my head facing hers. She seemed to have been captivated in by a daydream.

" Mam? "

She startled a bit, " Sorry dear, yes?"

Kneeling down beside me she looked over at the walls.

"Oh, those?", she giggled a bit, which amused me. "Those are ANCIENT."

She bowed her head as if she had remembered something painful.

"Kiva' s father painted these. "

I witnessed a small tear escape her eye and reflexively held her hand.

Silence.

She looked at me slowly, smiling painfully. " I'm fine. Don't worry about me. " she replied towards my concerned look.

Realising the ache in my neck from looking up of my awkward position, I rest my head on her lap, taking in the sweet scent of her clothes.

She was also an elf, long, blong hair. Beautiful eyes that resembled Kiva's.

She wore a pink, silky dress which reached to her ancles.

K-kiva? Where was he?

Left the room unnoticed I guess.

The woman gasped, " Your wings are stunning!"

"Call me Eva. ", she seemed amused.
