"Well, well, well," he began, "yet another I group of incompetent seventh graders to ruin my year." The social studies teacher's lip was curled in disgust as his gaze swept over the class like he was trying to dissect us.
That's an amazing impression of an eye hug. Well done, Satan's son. You clearly got a master's degree in heartfelt kindness.
I slid into my seat with careless nonchalance. Something told me that Mr. Lewis was just another stupid teacher that technically qualified as more of a demon gifted to us by Satan himself. From the way everyone was quivering in fear to the fact that there were zero inspirational quotes hanging around the room, I knew that he was probably an anarchist that hated all of mankind.
But hey, we don't discriminate.
"You are LATE," Mr. Lewis clipped at me. I raised a single brow when the tardy bell resounded after he had spoken.
Seems your brain is a little late too, sir.
"YOU- YOU- YOU INCOMPETENT CHILD!" he bellowed at me. Hailey shrunk back in her seat with wide eyes while I smirked at the teacher in an unsaid challenge. Emily's eyes darted between the teacher and me. Without another word, I smiled evilly at Mr. Lewis as if daring him to tell me I was incorrect. When he didn't answer, I placed the textbook on my desk with a loud thud.
Somebody didn't eat their brain cereal this morning.

I happily walked into school on the first day. Seventh grade was a new year, with great teachers! On the way to fourth period, I met my 8th grade friend in the hallways.
"Hey, Emily! Can I see your schedule?" she asked me.
"Sure!"
She glanced down at my schedule, then her lively eyes turned dark and full of fear.
"You.... you have Mr. Lewis!" she stammered. "The scariest demon teacher in the whole school! Rumor is that he kills cats and keeps the bodies in his cabinet... well good luck Emily!"
She ran away, and when I turned around, I realized why. Mr. Lewis was standing behind me, and boy she was right. His tall figure was looming over me, blocking all light from his doorway. His hair was bunched up and frizzy, like a mad scientist, and I swore I saw a flash of lightning and heard a rumble of thunder behind him. But scariest of all was his eyes. He was squinting at me in a way that made me feel dizzy and weak. I was going to get along so well with this guy.
"Happiness is prohibited! That's an eye hug for you, my friend." he said darkly. "Welcome to my class. I hope you're smart and have intelligence, or else you're going to SUFFER!" The light shined on his eyeglasses, giving a mad glint to his stare as he cackled evilly. Then he stepped to the side and watched me enter his room.

I walk down the unfamiliar hallway. Where is Mr. Lewis' class? I circled around the school for what seemed like eternity. I heard from my old friends that Mr. Lewis is going to be torture for me. I scanned the classroom numbers. I felt myself suddenly stop at a classroom door. Lava dripped out of the edges as I jump back to avoid a spark. I look at the door in terror, not wanting to know whats inside. I start backing away as...
"AHEM AHEM. WHERE ARE YOU GOING YOUNG LADY?" A deep and scary voice said behind me.
I whirred around and I saw a tall figure standing right in front of me. I sniffled a scream as I tried to figure out who he is. His shadow blocking everything in my view.
"Im looking for Mr. Lewis' class." I mumbled.
"WHAT? YOU THINK IM SUPPOSED TO HEAR YOU IN THAT VOICE?" He bellowed.
"Sorry sir I'm looking for Mr. Lewis' class." I whispered, trying to put volume in my terrified voice.
"SORRY I CAN'T HEAR YOU YOUNG LADY. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR MR. LEWIS THEN YOU'RE AT THE RIGHT PLACE, BUT IF YOU'RE NOT, THEN STOP WASTING MY TIME!" he yelled and opened the door. I swiftly nodded. His beady eyes dug into my soul as I hesitantly walked towards the classroom. His intimidating figure towered over me. He was wearing a worn brown coat that seems to be a hand me down from 100 years ago, and his jeans were caked in dirt.
"GET IN ALREADY!" he yelled. His stern and loud voice cut through the air. I yelped and I finally ran inside the classroom.
