Even good marriages fail. One minute you're standing on solid ground, the next minute- you're not. And there're always two versions. Yours, and theirs. The both versions start the same way though. Both start with two people falling in love. You think yours is the one that's gonna make it. So it always comes as a shock, the moment you realize it's over. One minute you're standing on solid ground, the next minute, you're not.

THIRD PERSON POV

-Morning, Mazur's Mansion-

"How dare you trying to escape here! You're too much!" Sheikh Mazur said when Caroline confronted him about her boyfriend.

"Because I know you'll do this to me! He's a commoner that's why you don't like him! What more could be important to you than power and wealth!" Caroline answered.

"I'm doing this for you and the rest of our family."

"Don't make me as your excuse father, ever since, you only did what could pleases you!"

Then a slap reverberates.

"Never! Ever defy my words nor talk back on me!"sheikh mazur sternly said "Servants! Prepare her for the ceremony! Now if you don't want to walk in the aisle with a discolored face better put an ice on your cheeks immediately! And forget your lowlife puppet!" he said then walks out from the room.

Beiron, what are we suppose to do? The clock is ticking and few hours from now, I'll be a royal concubine just like my mother. In caroline's thoughts while crying.

-Morning, Rafiq's Mansion-

Beiron's talking with Prince Rostam at the phone.

"Rostam, I need your help, right now, please."

"I know, and I wish I could go there but I can't as of this time, some stupid mutt's threatening the village lords and my slave." he cussed.

Beiron let out an exasperated sigh in which the prince heard on the other line.

"Look, you're like a brother to me and you know I would do anything I could to help you in your case with the tribune, but as of now, that part is beyond my grasp, only the king has say on that matter and as you can see I'm not on the throne yet."

"I understand."

"But, I had talked with the king about it."

"And?"

"Well he didn't say anything. *sigh* You'll make it bro, you'll survive this. I need to go."

"Thanks for everything and good luck with your case. Send my regards to your precious slave eirah."

"Tsk! Shut up bro, she's off limits."

"Don't worry, I'm not interested into another love triangle affair. Trust me, I had enough."
