Okay, I'm going back on the whole 10 votes thing for this book. It was killing me not to be able to write it, so here it is!!
Pash Tano sat nervously in his seat. The screams of his wife echoed through his ears as she gave birth to their first child. Suddenly, the piercing screams of pain seased and were replaced by the cries of a baby. The door to the room that Femma was in opened and the midwife stepped out, her eyes bright. She nodded her head in a manner of telling Pash that he could go in, and he quickly stood up and walked into the room. He could hear the soft coos of his child, and the loving voice of his wife as he made his way to her bed. She lay with a blanket on her lap and a tan bundle in her arms. Her blue and white lekku and usual bright orange face were pale and her sky blue eyes had bags underneath them, but she had a loving spark in her eye as she smiled down at the bundle of cloth.
"Pash," she quietly said when she noticed him next to her bed. "Meet your daughter".
Femma held up the bundle so that her husband could see the tiny baby she had bore. Pash looked at his daughter with pride as he carefully took the baby into his large hands.
"What should we name her?" Femma asked. Pash thought of all the names running through his head. His daughter would grow up to be a beautiful but also strong, fierce, and independent young woman, so her name had to be full of meaning and life. Pash's mind drifted to the beautiful Ahsoka flower that was known to have been the very heart of Shili's vast forests. Pash smiled to himself, as he found the perfect name for his little girl.
"Ahsoka. Ahsoka Tano."
