I hear a creak in the desk to my right I could have guessed who it was based on the fact I could feel him staring at me, but I decided to ignore him. Now on my left, that is a different story. I'm assuming he was new based on the fact that I knew everybody and their mother here. I turned my boy to him, I put a smile on and introduced myself "Hi there, I'm Leann. And you are?" I questioned. He smirked and took my outstretched hand to shake. "David. Nice to meet you Leann." "Same." I reply and turn my attention to the front as I do I don't feel anybody on my right right which could possibly be explained by Dean standing between me and David fuming. "Look here punk, this is my girl. Got it? Don't look at her, touch her, talk to her, or even breathe near her. Do we understand each other." I was fixing to tell Dean to shove it when David did something interesting he leaned back in his seat with his hands behind his head an a smirk plastered to his face. "Well this is the friendliest school I've ever been to." sarcasm was dripping from his words making me smile a bit. "Look here dude, she's a big girl she can choose who she wants to talk to and by the way she was looking like she wanted to rip your head off when you said 'my girl' she can date who she wants," he turned to me. "So I'll pick you up at eight?" Dean looked at me in shock as I nodded. And just like that I had a date for the night.
