part of my heart

Summer has come and gone, but this time when it left it took the old me with it. Senior year here I am and let's just say I can't wait to leave. I've spent a majority of my life in the city but boy do I remember when I lived in the country. Now that was heaven, and I can't wait to go back. But like the saying goes 'good things come to those who wait' the thing is I've never been very patient.

As I walk up the steps to Long Ridge high I take everybody's breath with me. Although it could be the fact that my old reasonably priced, good on gas car has been traded for my new motorcycle. I look back at it with a sigh it's my baby.

I don't know why everybody stares they have seen me before, I think to myself as I walk to my first period. My school must be different from yours because we have orientation the week before school starts. So my look is nothing new, I guess I just look that good.

I walk in to my first period and I'm the first one there. Last year I would had arrived just between bells at an average time, because I was an average girl. But like I have said many times before I an different now.
