Shopping

Shouta continued to eat and drink his coffee before washing the dishes and stretching. Shouta looked at the time and then to his phone before sighing, "Hey, I need to get home for a little bit. Text me if you need anything." Shouta sighed, knowing his cat needed to be fed and Hizashi was probably passed out sleeping still.
Toshinori nods and puts his plate and mug down on the counter before walking to the front door and opening it for him "Thank you for helping me" he said while smiling softly.
Shouta nodded with a slight smile, "Don't worry about it, what are friends for." He said as he put on his shoes. "Call or text me of you need something and get some rest."
Toshi nods "Will do!"
Shouta nodded and waved, "See you later. Rest well." He said  before stepping out and walking back to his place which wasn't too far.
Toshi closed the door locking it and walks to the kitchen. He finishes his food and washes the plate before walking to his bedroom and lays on his bed falling asleep.
Shouta walked back to his place and fed his cat before getting some school work done that he didnt get done the night before.
A few moments later Toshi woke up and got off his bed. He walks to the kitchen and gets a cup of water then drinks some. He puts the cup down on the counter and looks at the gash on his arm. The gash seemed to be healing a lot better than expected, and should be feeling better by the end of the weekend for school on Monday.
Toshi sighed before he grabs his cup and drinks the rest of the water. He puts the cup in the sink and opens the fridge for a snack but he didn't have any small things to eat so he decided to go out and buy some. He goes to the living room and grabs the bandages on the coffee table, he then wraps his arm with the gash. He puts the bandages down before walking to his front door, he then puts his shoes on and opened the door walking out while locking the door behind him. He walks to a store nearby.
Shouta was going out on a walk wearing a pullover hoodie and some jeans, and a small grey grey cats head poked out the neck of his hoodie in front of his, wondering where he was going.
Toshinori walks in the store and walks around the isles grabbing some snacks and putting them in a little basket.
Shouta walked around and got a couple strange looks from passerbys as he passed a store window and saw Toshi out buying things. It made him huff a little, first because he wasn't resting like he should, and second he didn't call him. Shouta stood outside the store for a moment, trying to determine what the best thing to do was. The small cat in his sweater seemed to bat at his long hair as he was in thought.
Toshi grabs some other stuff to make meals and some water bottles. He didn't see Shouta. He continues shopping.
Shouta eventually decided to walk inside and grab a few things he needed anyway.
Toshinori grabs some pain killers and more bandages for the future. He walks around looking if there was anything else he needed before he spot Shouta. He couldn't really tell if it was him or not for a while before realizing it was him. He coughs up some blood before covering his mouth and wipes the blood away as he looks at Shouta.
Shouta glanced over at him and saw that he noticed him. Shouta walked over, "Got more bandages and stuff I see." Shouta said as he glanced in his basket.
"Y-Yeah..." Toshi nods nervously as he looks at the cat a bit confused.
Shouta glanced at Toshinori and then to his cat, "This is Ai...she wouldn't leave me alone when I got home so I took her with me to run errands." He said trying to explain his odd behavior to him.
"Well she is very cute" Toshi said with a smile and chuckles a little.
"Thanks." Shouta said with a slight blush. "You look like you are feeling better though."
"Oh, Yeah..I didn't have any snacks and I didn't want to cook something so I decided to go buy some" Toshinori said as he was still looking at the cat.
The cat looked back at him and meowed at him cutely, "She seems to like you. Usually she would try and hide away from someone that she didn't know." Shouta said as he scratched the grey cats cheek. "You can pet her, she seemed to like you enough."
Toshinori hesitates before petting the cat gently on her head.
She meowed and purred for him, pressing her head into his hand. It made Shouta smile faintly, glad they got along.
Toshinori smiles as he continues petting her.
They were now getting a few looks, mostly people wondering why, one, this man had a  cat in his shirt and was walking around, and two, why they were doing this in a store.
Toshi stops petting her "She is adorable"
"Thanks. I got her a week or two ago." Shouta glanced around, "I guess I'll leave you to your shopping." He said as he held his basket with some stuff.
"Well...I was wondering if maybe you want to shop together or maybe do other things...but you don't have to" Toshi said nervously
"As long as you dont mind random meowing every once in a while." Shouta chuckled to himself a little.
Toshi chuckles "I don't mind at all" he said as he looks at Shouta while smiling
Shouta glanced down with a light blush, "So what else do you need?" He asked.
"Oh, just some more drinks. Like apple juice or something. I don't just want to drink water and coffee all the time" Toshi said as he looks down at the water bottles he had in his basket.
Shouta nodded, "Understandable." He walked with Toshinori, grabbing stuff for himself as they walked around.
After Toshinori got the stuff he needed he looks at Shouta "Do you need anything else?"
"Hmmm..I don't think so." Shouta said as he looks through his stuff.
"So you're ready to go pay?"
Shouta nodded, "Yeah I didn't need much." Shouta had only a few things that he was buying.
"Alright. Let's go get in line" Toshinori said as he walks to where the cashier is and stands in line
Shouta stood behind him and nudged the small cats head back into his sweater for the time being.
When it was their turn, Toshi puts his stuff on the conveyor belt.
Shouta put his stuff a distance away so they didn't get mixed up and grabs his wallet to see if he had the cash on him or if he would just pay with his card.
Toshi grabs his wallet from his back pocket before looking at Shouta "I'll pay for you. I owe you"
That made Shouta sigh a bit, knowing that he wouldn't give up on paying him back. "I don't do nice things for you wanting to be repaid, I do it because I want to. You don't need to pay me back all the time." Shouta said with a nod.
"But when I don't repay you I feel bad..." Toshi said kinda quite.
Shouta put a hand on his shoulder, "I will keep doing nice things until you accept it."
Toshinori puts a hand on his shoulder "I will keep trying to repay you until you accept it"
That made Shouta laugh a little, "I guess we will be at a standstill until one of us budges." He said with a bit of a smile from the idea of the situation.
Toshi smiles "If that's what I got to do to get you to let me repay you then I'll do it"
"Fine fine, pay for my stuff, I'll just do something for you again eventually." Shouta said with a nod.
Toshi chuckles and lets go of his shoulder. He takes some money out his wallet and pays for both of them.
AI popped her head out of Shoutas hoodie again and meowed at Toshinori, almost like a thank you.
Toshi looks at Ai and puts his hand on his heart "So cute..."
"Yeah, I wish I was a cute as she is." Shouta said, mostly to himself, meaning to say it in his head. "I mean, well...thanks for paying for my groceries."
"You're cute..." Toshi mumbles before realizing he said that out loud. He spit out some blood "I-I mean! I'm sorry! I-I d-didn't mean to say that!!"
That surprised Shouta and made his cheeks burn as he didn't know what to say but handed him some napkins to wipe his mouth. "Thanks I guess.." He said, never been able to take compliments well.
Toshi takes the napkin and looks down blushing madly as he wipes the blood off with the napkin "I-I'm so s-sorry I-if I made you u-uncomfortable..."
"No! Not at all. It made me a bit glad to hear that from you if I'm honest." Shouta said as he grabbed his bags of groceries.
"W-Wait..really?" Toshi asked shocked as he looks at him
"Yeah, is that weird?" Shouta asked as he started walking with both of their groceries so Toshi didn't have to carry anything worth his bad arm.
"N-No.." Toshinori said still a little embarrassed as he walks besides Shouta while blushing.
Shouta looked back at him and seemed to have a slight smirk before turning back to the way he was walking.
Toshinori was looking around as he walks still feeling embarrassed for saying that out loud.
