Michael shifted his eyes to the side, looking at the wall. Even after all this time, he didn't believe it.
Most of his life, he could never feel like he was anything more than atrocious. He had been called ugly and freakish looking by almost everyone, his family, friends, even people who he didn't know. He just always looked...different.
So when he met Jahseh, a man who constantly showered him with affection, he had a hard time believing it.
