He made it to the house and quickly slammed the door behind him, almost as if he was being chased, as soon as he made that loud booming noise, Mugman rushed on over to Cuphead to check if he was okay or not, but just saw the stress of his face.

"Cups, you okay what's wrong-?"
"Mugs, please tell me you have enough money to pay for yourself this time!"

Mugman's look went from a nervous smile to a very serious tone, he knew Cuphead was serious about the payment or else Cuphead wouldn't have rushed in like that, especially in the morning. Cuphead is like a weird wacky clock, sometimes we wakes up extremely early or extremely late, this for Mugman was very alien to him.

"Money?" He said nervously
"Yes, money, y'know the living fee" Cuphead had an extreme amount of frustration in his voice, it physically hurt him. But Mugman just slowly nodded 'no'.
"Did you even do the interview for that job?"
One again, a big long nod saying 'no'. Cuphead had butterflies in his stomach, but he felt angry more than anything, basically a mix of emotions that shouldn't have been there if Mugman were to actually go and take the job interview like he said he would do.

Cuphead sighed reaaaally disappointed hoping his brother can take so,e responsibility for once.
"Listen... Mugs this is the last time- you know this"
"Cuppy, I don't wanna die, please find something!" Mugman was clearly panicking at this point hoping his brother, his older one at that, would come through with him one last time.

Cuphead couldn't stand to look at Mugman's clear distress, so he just nodded to give Mugman some kind of clarity to let him know, 'I'll try and do something' but Cuphead knew he couldn't. So he just left with the coins he had to spare him and elder Kettle. He walked to the place where most people dread: Hell's Casino.

Hells Casino is either one hell of a time or one hell of a ride, which is why Cuphead was dreading it, he knows what they will say or do, he's seen it so many times in their neighbourhood, it it brings chills up his spine, that poor old lady, she ended up-

"HEY YOU-"
Cuphead turned to look while he was phased out, he didn't realise who it was yet, It was a dot, that turned into a blob, that turned into a figure that turned into a man, that turned into him, Master Drew. Who suddenly dragged Cuphead into the alleyway he was next to at the time. They looked at each other for a while, trying to comprehend what's on their faces. Bendy almost realised it just by looking at him; Stress, Rain and...

"Your crying? From a person like you?"
Well gosh golly, Cuphead didn't even realise it, it probably explained why he want able to notice him at first but hey, who could blame him? His brother is gonna get killed why couldn't he be crying?

"You okay? What happened?"
Bendy's voice was incredibly muffled. So muffled he couldn't even hear him, he was right there, Cuphead just needed him to listen. Hopefully someone like him would understand what it's like to fear something important being lost.

"Mr. Drew-"
"Just call me Bendy, I'm gettin' so bored of people calling me that."
"Ok- Bendy, I need 200 coins fast, please I'm begging you-" Cuphead's personality was a complete 180 from last night which was the first time Bendy ever spent any time with him, even though Cuphead was struggling to explain his reason but all he heard was "younger brother", "payment" and "dead" which scared him and without question shoved 200 coins into Cuphead's chest, looking distressed.

Bendy said to comply with why he gave him the money,"Just take it, make sure he's okay." And Cuphead's tears went from absolute dread to joy and gratitude, he shakes him strongly saying as many thank yous as his breath could give and dashed to the casino to make sure he lives.

Bendy smiled, knowing he actually saved a life.
