He was given up to protect him and the Mikaelson's didn't want another baby involved in their crazy drama. Now sixteen years later Hope gets visions of her twin and goes and tells Freya. She then looks at the visions her self and they tell the other Mikaelson's. They were sort of sad that they gave him up but happy for seeing him again. But what happens when he isn't that innocent baby he was.
