***A/N*** The intro may be very slow or boring, but I promise it gets better!

Hi my name is Raelyn Natalia Cervantes, I am a fangirl you know the one with a twitter specifically for fangirling. I mean I have a Tumblr too but I like twitter better, its way more interactive. The good thing about both of them is that I can keep them away from people I actually know. I mean don’t get me wrong I’m not ashamed it’s just that some people just don’t understand. For the most part my twitter is a secret; the only ones that know I have it are my sisters, they also fangirl just not as ‘hard’ as I do. But we’ll talk about that later. Oh I almost forgot to tell you who I fangirl over, I fangirl over the five boys of ONE DIRECTION.

You’re probably thinking ‘who doesn’t, they’re only the biggest boy band in the WORLD’ which is true. They have grown a lot in popularity over the last two years. But you obviously know that story; you guys are here to the “untold story” the story that everyone thought was impossible, the one that simply happen out of luck. So I might as well get down to it, this is the story of how I met One Direction and met the man of my dreams...literally!

“Rae!” I swear it’s impossible to sleep in a house with six people. “What?!” I yelled back to my sister who was pounding on the door. “Wake up! You’re going to be late, again!” “Okay, I’m up!”

I hate working, not in general just where I work now. I mean it has its perks but I definitely don’t want to be here long. You see my family and I just moved back to Indiana from Missouri, due to money problems. So now we’re crammed in a 3 bedroom apartment. You think me being 22 years old I wouldn’t live at home anymore. But me living at home isn’t weird you see we’re Mexican, and Mexicans tend to live at home usually till one goes away to college or gets married. Well at least in the old school families like mine. Anyway my parents and I work at our family’s restaurants, they work in the one uptown and I work at the one downtown. I work as a hostess/cashier, but I’m boring you aren’t I?

So let’s jump ahead a few months later the mega millions lottery was up to 93 million dollars! So I decided to buy some tickets to test my luck. I was never really into the whole lottery thing. But everyone was buying multiple tickets, so I ended up buying six tickets. I had the machine pick the numbers for the first five tickets and then I chose the numbers for the sixth one. I decided to use the boys’ birthdays in the order they were born in 24, 12, 29, 13, and 1. Then I chose 23 as my mega ball number, in honor of their anniversary as a group. I figured if anyone could bring me luck it would be them. I took all my tickets home to watch the number drawing with my family. Between the four of us old enough to buy tickets we ended up buying eighteen of them; my mom buying 7, my dad 3, my sister Vanessa with 3 and then my 6. I don’t know why but I was feeling lucky for some reason. I mean I don’t why I’ve never won anything in my life! But for some reason I had a gut feeling that was going to change tonight.

It was time; this was the moment we’ve been waiting for. I’ve never felt so nervous in my life! I mean it was just the lottery, millions of people play all the time why would I be any different. Why should my life change? Why am I freaking out, the numbers haven’t even been drawn yet.

Just then it happened “24, 12, 29, 13, 1 and tonight’s mega ball is 23!”

I stared at the TV screen trying to process what just happened.

“Well I didn’t win” I heard Vanessa say. “Me neither” my dad said while looking at my mom “Nothing”.

As all this was going on I was still out of it,

“Rae” Vanessa called me out bringing back to reality. “What you get” she asked. “I uh…I um…I think…I just…became…a millionaire.” She started laughing, “yeah right and hippos can fly!”

I get up and hand her my ticket, “Take a look for yourself” “Fine I will”. She starts to read the numbers out loud, “24, 12, 29, 13…1 and…23”.

Her expression was now the same as mine, and all I said to her was

“So I guess hippos do fly”.
