Jingle Ball

Chapter 8

Rae’s POV

         The last couple of days have been amazing, it mostly consisted of shopping and hanging out with Ruth, Eleanor and my sisters. The boys had their golden ticket convention the day after the show, so they joined us on Wednesday and we all went sightseeing. Which was probably one of the hardest things to do with all the fans following the boys around everywhere, but all in all we had a good time. Today the boys have sound check for the Jingle Ball and will spending most of the day deciding what songs they’re going to play. I’m dying for them to play songs from the new album, since Harry has banned me from listening to anything other than LWWY and Little Things. Which is probably one of the hardest things for any fangirl to do, I mean everyone and their grandmother have probably heard the album a million times by now. But before they all head off Liam, Paul and I are taking Ruth to the airport, seeing as she’s has to head back home today.

“Don’t forget to come visit me in Wolverhampton when you head back to London” Ruth says as she hugs me goodbye.

“I promise! But I’ll see you on New Years Eve at the boys’ party” I reassure her. We’ve become really close the last couple of days.

         Ruth had said goodbye to my sisters, Eleanor, and the rest of the boys back at the hotel. Paul only let me accompany him and Liam to the airport.

“You take care of single Liam and make sure he doesn’t get into too much trouble.” She says letting me go.

“Hey, I’m not that bad, thank you!” Liam says trying to defend himself as he hugs his sister.

“I promise Ruth, have a safe flight home.” I say waving goodbye to her.

         Once she we couldn’t see here anymore, we made our way back to the car where Paul was waiting for us. Unfortunately for us there was already a ton of fans waiting outside just to catch a peek of Liam. Paul had to get some of the airport security to help with the crowds. Liam and I rushed to the car as fast as we could, but it did not go unnoticed from of the fans cameras.  

“Well those pictures are going to be all over twitter soon” Liam says as he closes the door behind him.

“I can see it now ‘Liam and mysterious new girl’” I laugh out.

“Fans can get quite creative I’ll give you that” he chuckles.

“Liam, can I ask you a question?” I ask

“Of course you can, you can ask me anything”

“What songs are you going to sing at the Jingle Ball?” I blurt out.

“I should have seen that coming, I cant tell you” he says

“Why not?”

“Because Harry specifically told us not to that’s why”

“But Liam, I haven’t been able to hear any of the new songs other than LWWY and Little Things” I whine.

“Fine, we’re singing songs off the new album! But, I’m not telling you which ones”

“Thank you! That’s ok you have told me all I needed to know”

Harry’s POV

“Hey Harry ‘Liam and New Girl’ is trending!” Niall shouts, waving me over.

“What do you mean new girl” I ask making my way over to him.

“No clue, I’m trying to look for a picture…oh wait I found one”
