Normally, in these sort of situations, Jirou would scream and yell and freak out with her friends, as anyone would in a haunted house. But it was different. She wasn't with her friends, she was with her crush.
Though he wasn't there during "The Test of Courage", Kaminari was here now. He would be able to get a front-row seat of Jirou and her pathetic fear of horror.
Did Mina really have to force them through the doorway together?
Jirou sighed, goosebumps forming on her skin. She couldn't tell if it was because she was standing so close to Charge-dolt, or that she was scared. A blush crept across her face.
Just keep your cool, she thought to herself. You've fought villains much scarier than some guy with a fake chainsaw-
A door above them popped open, with a loud bang. A black-haired woman with (what appeared to be) dark holes replacing her eyes and a tattered dress screeched at the pair, as she dangled from the ceiling.
Kaminari made a noise in disgust. Jirou covered her head, pressing her lips together so that an abrupt gasp wouldn't escape her. This didn't stop her from jumping back in shock, nor did it stop her from inching closer to Denki.
Oh god, we are barely a minute in and I'm shaking my brains out!
The next jump scare was a man- with a very realistic looking ax in his head- screamed and scratched from a hole on the left side of the wall.
Kaminari scrunched up his nose and grunted, however, Jirou pulled her arms closer to herself as she squeaked. Though she quickly forgot about this, because Kyouka and Denki were now barely a few centimeters apart, as they were avoiding the 'monster's wall' by leaning to the right.
I can feel him breathing! Jesus...
She blushed, though she was quickly interrupted when a clown with very exaggerated features came hurling towards them, with a freaky smile. This caused both of them to yelp, Jirou subconsciously grabbing onto Kaminari's forearm, with a loud slapping noise.
She guided him down the hall quickly, the clown still harassing them, and at a certain point, it stopped honking it basset horn and retreated. This gave Jirou a moment to recollect and realize what she was doing. She looked up at Kaminari, who was noticeably red.
What if it's because you are holding him? Her thoughts suggested, though she quickly denied that as a possibility. It's probably because that last one was so... aggressive.
"You okay?" Kyouka asked sheepishly.
He gulped, but nodded, moving a little closer. They continued their venture down the haunted hallway, being stopped every 40 feet by another abomination. Each time both were scooting near until they were basically compacted.
At this point, Kaminari had his hands around Jirou's hips, his face resting her back. Kyouka was hunched over, welcoming the warms arms of Denki around her waist, as they fearfully continued (and not know that they were providing each other comfort.)
Jirou's eyes lit up in sparkles when she saw, what she thought to be, the final home stretch. She quickened her pace, determined to get out as quickly as she could, safely, with her idiot blonde.
She walked through the frame of the wooden door, expecting bliss, but instead, she heard the most horrifying noise and saw the most wretched face making it. Kaminari's grip furthered up her stomach, pressing tighter. She grabbed onto his hands. They both screamed.
Then, Jirou saw a flash of light. It came from a camera, catching them mid-reaction.
