Mei is not scared of death.

She will tinker with a machine that is clearly about to explode.

She will jump off a cliff to test out one of her grappling-hook-type 'babies'.

She would gladly set off a bomb if she needed to.

And, hell, she's even looked Bakugo in the eyes.

Mei is not scared of death, not at all, but she sure as hell is scared at whatever the that is.

No, not Mineta (who is currently climbing onto Iida's back in fear). Mei was frightened by the actor that is in front of them.

He is screaming bloody-murder, dried blood painting on his face. He wasn't wearing a shirt, exposing is the skeleton-like body. It seemed his legs were quite morphed as well. His hands had been chained to the wall, so it left him to lean towards her group aggressively.

When Mei was scared, she wasn't the type to latch onto someone (like what her boyfriend was currently doing to her hips), nor was she the type to start throwing punches.

She would just- well, she would subconsciously make the most disgusted face ever.

This face that she would make you feel bad for existing, you see. She would scrunch her eyebrows together to unfathomable heights, and she would part her mouth in a very noticeable frown. Her petite nose would start to flare, and her pupils would contract into one's similar to a kitten's.'

Mei is not the person to get disgusted easily.

Thanks to her support classes, her face is almost always layered with smoke and grime. She can easily go a few days without a shower, and grossly enough, she can go plenty long without deodorant.

Though she is slowly getting over that ghastly habit (props to Iida's relentless scoldings), foul things never got on her nerve all too much.

Besides that, the haunted house was kind of funny. Iida was squealing and grabbing, it was quite charming to see this side of him. At some point, he started to yell at someone, with his robot hands flailing.

Mineta had gone with them, mainly because no one else would. The grape-haired boy reactions to the scares were quite hilarious (though she couldn't get the full wind of Mineta's responses, as Iida made sure he was placed in the middle of the two).

The scariest part (and the funniest reactions) must've been at the end when all their pictures had got taken.

This one had been much more unexpected than the others, so Mei was very surprised. Iida dug his head into her back and grabbed her chest, not that she minded. Mineta jumped off the ground, trying to crawl onto the blue-haired boy.

Mei is not scared of death, nor is scared of laughing at her boyfriend (or the creepy midget-boy.)
