The car door slammed shut as if to confirm Jungkook's doom. I buckled my seatbelt and Jungkook followed.

"How am I supposed to not get arrested?" He grumbled, tugging down the dress.

The car hummed and music pumped through the speakers. I turned to him.

His face clearly flushed and frowned. His muscular legs hugged by the fishnets. It was supposed to be funny, but now I'm just distracted. Immensely.
I swallowed hard and shook my head a bit, putting my hands on the wheel.

"You'll be fine with the things girls wear these days."

"You sound like my mom." He teased.

"Then your mom is wise."

We arrived at the convention a little later then planned. It was already 12 PM and almost everyone was there. I could see Jungkook growing more and more anxious in his seat as he stared out the window watching people walk into the building.

"You know, you can always get me back later if it's that bad." I assured him as I searched for a parking spot.

"I just.." He sighed. "I've just been feeling weird lately. Like an emotion I've never felt before."

I glanced at him and watched his vulnerable looking body language. I felt kind of guilty.

"Is it a bad feeling..?" I asked him, finally parking the car. He licked his lips and determinedly kept his eyes outside.

"No.. just kind of frustrating." He mumbled.

"You know, you can change back into your clothes if you-"
"-Y/n, what if my parents don't like you?"

He turned to me and furrowed his eyebrows.

"What?" I ask, taken aback.

"What if, when my parents meet you, they don't like you? What would we do?" He rambles.
I unbuckle my seatbelt and stare at him.

"Kook, why would they not-"
"-Because you're poor." He blurts out and flinches at his own words.

"..what?"

He took a breath.

"My family is.. a little less poor than most families, I guess you could say, and..whenever I bring you up they always ask what job you have. I tell them you're a student and they.. exchange looks or something.."

I nod and let him keep going.

"I'm just worried what they'll think of you.."

I place my hand on his cheek.

"I don't know much about your family, Jungkook, but if they're anything like you, I'm sure we'll be fine." I give him a slow kiss and a smile.

"But right now, let's get your mind off them. Okay?"

He nodded.

It was when I opened the car door that Jungkook remembered what he was wearing and suddenly grew very red in the face.

"Should I open your door, kookie?" I teased.
He grumbled and exited the car.
