Chapter 11

End of Sixth Year, in Snape's quarters

Snape's POV

I know after what I did Harry may never forgive me. I made a choice that would haunt me forever. I never wanted to hurt Harry, however, he ran off after Dumbledore's death, to where, I don't know. All I know, is that Sirina can help me out here. Maybe, I don't know, all I know is, that I don't want to lose either one of my children. I know, that Sirina will most likely be on my side, however, Harry won't. Harry trusted Dumbledore and there I go and kill the one he most respected. Now, Harry won't ever forgive me.

Knock Knock

I get up to answer the door and what I see is my daughter. That was a surprise indeed. I bet she heard what happened to Dumbledore from Harry. She may understand, however, I don't know how she'll react to how Harry took the news. I mean, Harry is her brother, and she is also my daughter. I just didn't want to harm either one of them.

"Dad, I know what you did, and I know why you did it. I'm not mad, however, you know as well as I that Harry may not ever forgive you"

"I just don't know if he will ever forgive me. Sirina, he doesn't understand, however, do you understand why I did what I did"

"Because Dumbledore told you to, and that The Dark Lord would still trust you. Don't ask how I know this, Dumbledore told me exactly everything that he told you"

"I don't understand, why would he do that. He once didn't tell you the truth, yet now, he tells you everything. It doesn't add up"

"I know, however, there isn't much that we can do about right now" Sirina said. After our little conversation she heads to her old room and rests for the night.

Sirina's POV

I haven't told dad my real reason why I'm here. He wouldn't believe me if I told him. I mean, how would he feel if I told him 'Oh, by the way, Dumbledore told me that I was to be on the staff, to protect you'. He would not have agreed to that. Dad would have been furious at Dumbledore. Yet now, I have to be careful. Harry is out hunting horcruxes and I am here at Hogwarts.

I decide to go for a walk around the castle. While walking around I see the Carrows. This is not good, especially when I don't have my wand with me. This is not a situation that I would have liked to be in. I could run, I could fight, or I could turn into my wolf and have them follow me.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here. Sirina Snape, daughter of Severus Snape"

"What do you want Carrow"

"Simple, you should not be here"

"I have the right to come and visit my father, do I not"

"Not while The Dark Lord is in control"

Not good, not good, where is father when I need him. Oh, right, he's in his quarters asleep.

"And now, you will pay, for infiltrating Hogwarts while The Dark Lord is in control"

The Carrows shoot the Cruciatus Curse for five minutes. After that, they spelled Sectumsempra at me, which is my father's spell. And then, they did the cutting curse. After all of that torture on the dungeon floor they walk away. I barely had the strength to stand up, yet I had to get to my father's quarters. With a lot of energy, even though it was hard to do that, I eventually made it to my father's quarters. I collapse on the floor with heavy breathing. I hear father's door open and here him run towards me.

"Sirina! Sirina! Can you here me? It'll be okay, your going to be alright"

"D-Dad. T-The C-Carrows, T-They...." And then I passed out. I don't remember much after that.

Snape's POV

Oh my poor girl, why didn't I go with her. Then she wouldn't have gotten hurt this badly. Then again, I was asleep. I heal her to the best of my ability and give her potions that will heal her. I pick her up and put her into the bed and sit next to her. She looks so peaceful when she is asleep.

"My poor daughter, I am so sorry" I say out loud. What I didn't notice was that Sirina had woken up and grabbed my hand. She was trying to sit up, yet she couldn't, so I helped her sit up.

"It's not your fault dad. I didn't expect the Carrows to attack me. I had hoped to just go on a simple walk. I should have turned into my wolf and ran, yet I froze"

"Yet I shouldn't have fallen asleep when you might have needed me"

"Dad, Dumbledore put me on the staff before he died, he knew that you would probably need protection from You-Know-Who" I thought about what she said and she was right, with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named out there, I could get hurt bad. I just wish Dumbledore would have told me his plan for my daughter. Yet I definitely understand, she is extremely powerful.

After the War

Harry's POV

Finally, he's gone and we all can live out our lives. I look over and see Sirina talking with dad. I already forgave him after I had a long talk with Sirina. I just wish I knew what they were talking about. I decide to go and find my friends and see how they are. However, before I even start walking, I see a wolf standing in front of me preventing me from moving. Next to the white wolf is dad, yet he looks nervous when he looks at me. That is when I realize the wolf is Sirina.

"Sirina, I already know what your going to say, yet can I say my piece first"

"I know Harry, yet dad doesn't. He's worried that you won't ever forgive him"

"I already forgave him sis, after our long talk"

"I know, but just be careful okay"

"I will"

"Dad, I know your worried that I won't ever forgive you, however, Sirina explained everything, and I already forgave you". He came over to me and enveloped me in a hug and started crying. We sunk to the floor and let him hold me and I tried to comfort him to the best of my ability.

I look towards Sirina and she comes over and turns back into her human form. She wraps her arms around us and held us. Dad fell asleep in our arms and we carried him home. Who knows what will happen in the future.

I'm sad, we're at the end of the story. Don't worry though! There will be an epilogue! I just have to figure out what to do for it. Hope to see you next time!
