After I had put on my pajamas and he had done the same, we lay together in bed. He held me close to him, I rested my head on his chest and just heard his calm heart beating while he ran his fingers through my long hair.

"I'm kinda scared, Wilmer"  I said, pushing the comfortable silence away.

"Why, sweetheart? " He asked, kissing the top of my head.

Kissing my head when I was worried had become one of his manners since then.

"You know... About our baby's future... And our future... And our privacy..."

He sighed and placed another sweet and lovely kiss on my head.

"That's why we gotta keep it as a secret, my dear"

"Our little secret"

"Yes, nena, our little secret"

I closed my eyes and just enjoyed the moment. It was going to be alright if he stayed my my side.

"Wake up, love birds!" Madison yelled, making us open our eyes.

I was still in his embrace and his arms were still tightly wrapped around me in a protective way.

"Ugh, Maddie..."  I whined. My little sister laughed.

"What? You guys gotta get used to it. When the baby is here, he or she is going to keep you guys up all night."

I rolled my eyes.

"Yes that's right" Dallas appeared behind Maddie.

"And not only that. When, after being hours and hours trying to make the baby sleep, you guys are finally in bed, ready to sleep, the baby will cry again. So... You'll be lucky if you get at least an hour of sleep" Dallas said, pulling a sad face at the end of her words.

"Shut up, girls"  I laughed. They laughed too.

"So... We will have to drink lots of coffe, Dem"  Wilmer said.

"Yup. You see, sisters of mine? Wilmer and I have already found an answer to our problems"

Dallas and Maddie rolled their eyes and left us alone while giggling.

"Oh Lord... It's gonna be hard"  I said, turning to him.

"Yes, but we're together in this. It'll be fine and definitely worth it"

I smiled and kissed him.

"Good morning, by the way" He mumbled against my lips. "Good morning" I replied, giggling as I stretched my arms out.

"It feels weird... I got used to waking up in the treatment center"

He hugged me.

"But now you're home, nena"

"I know, and it feels amazing. And more if you're here with me"

He smiled and pressed his lips against mine, forming a kiss.

"Heeeeeey isn't it too early to kiss?"  Mom entered the room and opened the windows.

"Mooooom"  I whined.

Why did everyone have to enter my room?

"Good morning, honey. Good morning, Wilmer"

"Good morning, Mrs. De La Garza"  Wilmer said, giving my mother a polite smile.

She smiled back and I felt happy because it looked like she really did accept him.

"Please call me Dianna" Mom said and went to the door. "Breakfast is ready, come soon or it'll get cold" And she left.
