Welcome to the new story :)
So most of my inspiration for this comes from Star Wars so force users and such are a thing but the characters and factions of the Star Wars series will not be present.
This one should be 25 chapters.
----------------------------------------------
You sprint through the crowded streets, weaving through the greasy people. There are shouts behind you as your pursuers gain ground on you.
You swiftly turn into an alleyway but can't take any time to breathe. You push past the shady looking figures that lurk in the shadows, barely paying attention to them and jump out onto the next street over.
As soon as you are in the crowd you slow down to a walk, blending in easily with the oil covered mechanics and tired ship workers.
Your old worn boots barely make a sound on the metal walkway compared to the other people around.
The smells of odd spices hit your nose from the cramped stalls along the sides of the street. Vendors are shouting and trying to gain attention from anyone who will look their way.
Behind you the sounds of shouting and barking begin again as your pursuers emerge from the alley. You walk faster and sneakily tuck away the small metal pipe in the front pocket of your baggy overalls.
It's amazing how much of a fuss these people put up over such a small object.
It's not like it was rightfully theirs to begin with.
You can hear the snarling of the dog like creatures that are being used to track you down.
'Good luck with that.' You think. There's too much oil and gas around for creatures even as specialised as those ones to be of any use. It's like finding a needle in a haystack.
You approach a vendor who is trying to sell some sort of red broth. He's over two metres tall with four arms and dark grey skin. You can't remember the name of his species but you have met a few before.
You pretend to check out the product he is trying to sell as your pursuers walk past.
"Hello small one." The large man greets in a heavy accent. "Would you like to buy?"
"Just looking, sorry." You reply quickly before taking off again.
You pull out your old holopad. It is greasy and partially broken like everything else you own but it still works. You check the map of your current location and start trying to find your way out.
You may have dodged your pursuers for now but they are still out there and still looking for you. You tuck the holopad away and bow your head as the growling and barking gets closer.
They didn't really get a good look at you when they found you tampering with their ship. All they had seen was the old baggy clothes and greasy look that everyone at this station has. Your hair is pulled back in a bun and you look tough enough to be mistaken for a boy. It has happened before.
The sad truth about living way out here is you don't have the time of the money to waste on taking care of yourself. Your nails are cut short, your hair often goes unwashed and your face is always covered in grime.
It's not too different from back home but at least when you were there you had people to help you. Now you are on your own.
Lost in your thoughts you accidentally bump into someone. You look up past your cap to see the owner of the ship you had been messing with.
