Chapter 12: It's Official

Tori's POV

Their eyes widened and so did mine. “You two are going out now?” Joni asks, “yes is that okay mom?” I look at him still shocked, “I’m completely fine with it, I like Tori anyway, she’s better then your other girlfriends” I smiled and blushed “well she is just absolutely gorgeous, what nationality are you sweety?” Aunt Clarisse asks “I’m Filipino Italian” I say and she smiles “you’ve picked a good one Dana, she’s also Italian.” He kisses me on the cheek. 

For the past hour we have just been talking I got to know Aunt Clarisse and she's pretty cool, I like her. Then Cece comes running in “Tori, I know happened between you and Da-” she noticed that Dana’s mom is here and she stopped “hey Mrs Vaughns” she said smiling “hello Cece” Joni said back. I walked quickly to her. “Bye babe!” she said to David “bye babe!” he said back, did I mention that Cavid is now a thing? Well if not, now I am. I walk outside in the hallway with Cece “dude what?” I ask she started squealing, “I heard what happened between you and Dana!” she said, “who blurted?” I asked “spiderman did!” that dude can never keep anything to himself can he? I started fan girling as well “I know we did”

“did he ask you out yet?” she asked anxiously. “Kinda, yes, no. He introduced me to his aunt as his girlfriend, but he never asked, but we are going on a date later, so that’ll be fun!” I said “oh my god this is going to be awesome. Me and David, You and Dana, this is like a dream! Anyway I’m not going back in there its kind of awks, but tell me everything when you get back okay?” she said I nodded then she left. 

*2hours later* 

We have just finished the movie and we are now eating, there are paparazzi outside but the restaurant owner had them kept out and there are a lot of 5ers here and Tori-sters and they are just all staring at us. Then 2 girls come up to us and they are about our age, “can we take a picture with you two?” the blonde on said “are you two official?” the other one said I looked at Dana “so Tori are we official?” he asks me, and I thought about it “no we are not” Dana looked shocked and the girls looked sad “but you two look so good together.” The blonde said, I smiled at them and then looked at Dana “you introduced me to your aunt as your girlfriend, but I never said yes I played along with it, and since you didn’t ask, I never agreed to anything then no we are not official.” I said while taking a sip of my J2o. He pulled me by my arm and we went outside to the paparazzi, the two girls followed us and just watched as the show was happening, and so did a couple of other fans, they just watched from the windows.

“Dana what are you doing?” I asked him, “you said you wanted us to be official right?” he asked and I nodded “then I’m going to make it official” he paused, and interviewers from teen websites and what not had all of their mics ready, he takes my hand and holds it. “Victoria Marie Dizon, will you please be my girlfriend” all the fans started screaming and fan girling. I took a while to answer, then people started answering for me, they said “say yes Tori, say yes!” I smile at him “I need to think about it” I said, and all the fans just went silent, anxious to know what I was going to say "obviously!" I say Dana's smile goes from ear to ear and then he hugs me and kisses me in front of everybody. 

Gabe’s POV 

So I was just scrolling through the web, twitter and what not and this video pops up of Dana and Tori on the streets with like loads of fans surrounding them. The caption said ‘Tana is official, here is the video of Dana publically asking Tori to be his girlfriend on their Date’ and I saw it was uploaded literally 10 seconds ago, this is happening now! “Guys! Guys! Get your asses over here”. 

“what is it!” Will asked, and they all gathered around, I pointed to the laptop screen and pressed the play button. We all watched. 

Tori’s POV 

Instead of going back to the boys apartment I bought Dana in my apartment, I’m pretty sure that the news about me and Dana have reached my bro and Fran already so I might as well just bring Dana along and instroduce him as my boyfriend. I was about to open the door when Kenjie did it for me. “you are late!” he said “you didn’t tell me what time I could come back, and calm you balls its only 6 o’clock.” Fran pulls him to the side “don’t worry he just wants to be a good brother he saw that you and Dana were officially dating” she said nicely “yeah that’s what I wanted to talk to you about” I said “Dana is my boyfriend.” Kenjie gave me a serious look, then looked over to fran who was hugging Dana. “I’m happy for you Tori” Fran said “okay Dana I know that I love you and everything but you do know what will happen if you hurt my sister?” Kenjie told Dana sternly, and Dana nods “yes sir!”

“by the way you don’t just have me to go through you have to get dad’s approval” he said “I am aware of that” Dana says, “oh one rule, if you make out don’t do it in front of me, get it?” he said and we nod.  

Me and dana chill in the living room for a bit watching TV and he has his arm around me. Then my phone rings, I answer it, its Cassie “hello?” all I heard was a scream, and squealing “yo cassie whats up?” I waited until she stopped screaming “is that your step sister?” Dana asks and I nod, Cassie finally talks “Tori, oh my god I saw the news so, did mom and dad and you’re really going out with Dana Vaughns?”

“yes, hold on let me put you on speaker.” I put her on speaker and let Dana listen “I’ve got you on speaker, anyway yes I am going out with Dana” she screams again and Dana just laughs “I am so happy for you, I’m so jel because Dana is so foinneee, and you’ve had a crush on him like since you were 14! I cant believe this is really happening!” Dana laughs again. “Who was that laughing?” Cassie asks “Dana, he’s right next to me” I reply then she starts screaming “hey Cassie, its Dana” Dana says through the phone, “oh my god Dana Vaughns just said hey to me! I’m freaking out, anyway look after my sister okay?” she says to him “I will take very good care of her” he says back. 

“Dad wants to speak with you” Cassie says, I look at Dana nervously. “Torrrayyy!” Ellie said “you don’t sound like dad?” I said teasingly “baby, I heard the news congratulations your boyfriend is so cute! I’m so proud of you also with everything like your concerts and stuff” she said, I smiled as Dana moved closer to me “thank you El”

“anyway I kinda snatched the phone off your dad and he probably wants to speak to you right now, so good luck babe” she hands the phone to my dad. Here it comes, I slowly move the phone away from my ears expecting him to shout. 

“Victoria?” he says calmly. I move the phone back to my ears “Daddy? Are you mad at me?” me and Dana looked at each other nervously waiting for his answer “baby why would I be mad at you, if anything I’m crying right now. You’re growing up sweety” he said even if I couldn’t see him I knew he was smiling,I felt it in his voice, “I just wanted to tell you that I am so proud of you that you managed to live your dream as a singer” I started to tear up just by saying he was proud of me, he carried on “Tori when you sing it reminds me of your mom, she sounds exactly like you, like an angel and I know that she is looking at you right now and she is so proud of you just like me, Cassie and Ellie are to” I started to full on cry when he mentioned my mom I put my hand over my mouth, and Dana pulled me into a hug, and wiped some tears off my face. “I love you so much, I’m not mad about you and Dana, your brother said that Dana is a good guy so I will just take his word for it, but I have some good news” I wiped the rest of my tears off and sniffed “what is it?” “we’ll be there for Christmas. Goodnight sweety we love you” then the phone call ended. 

“So is Dad coming here?” Kenjie asked, I nodded and burst into to tears, Dana grabbed me and hugged me I was now crying on his shoulder “its okay Tori” he said stroking my head. “She gets really emotional when someone mentions our mom.” Kenjie tells him Dana looks at me like he was getting emotional to, “well ya know what, your mom is proud of you, so are we. Before, you were a crazy 5er fan that had our faces as your lock screen and now…. You’re actually part of the group, your like the only exception for a girl IM5 member also now we’re fans of you” I smiled and stopped crying “cheesy much?” he laughed “whatever” he said then kissed me on my forehead. 

Me and Dana carried on watching and from all my crying my eyelids shut close, and the last thing I heard was...

“I love you Tori”
