Life Has Just Begun

"I had enough games for today" i said while yawning. I turned off my computer and started to get ready for bed

This is Me, a 13 year old boy, love playing games and hate going to school, I live in a small town so cars don't usually go through here so i have to walk all the way to school, and i dont like other people i just like being alone, and i mean do people even like going to school? Don't get me worng schools are beneficial i know but it's getting really boring y'know, and tomorrow is my birthday yay more attention how i love it (sarcastically)

1 day later

-Beep beep beep-

"Ugh worst day of my life" i said while i wiped my eyes

"Lee wake up! It's time for breakfast"

"Lee!" she said while kicking my door open

And this is my little Sister Shizu, she might be little but she acts more mature than everyone, even my mom is obeying her orders, but luckily she's not one of those people who just wants things for their selfish ways and we our happy for that, phew thanks the Lord for that. Oh yeah and she has incredible like i mean incredible strength it's like she's not even human anymore.

"Yeah yeah, i heard you the first time, you don't have barge in here like an ogre"

"what in the world is an ogre?" Shizu asked while pulling me down the stairs "have you ever thought about making some friends? Like real friends, you know people on earth, like me, you, mom and dad"

"I don't know seems like a handful to me"

"ok but don't blame me if you die without having a real living friend"

"ugh whatever just drag me down the stairs already im lazy"

"Shizu, stop treating your brother like that on his birthday, atleast be nice to him"

"Mom you know he doesn't like special treatments on his birthday"

"For once shizu i actually agree with you" i said while standing up and wiping of the dust in my shorts "i want to be treated like it wasn't my birthday, you know I don't like getting too much attention"

"ok fine, then atleast accept this gift, it's from all of us, me, shizu, and your dad. Your dad gave this to me before he passed and he wanted me to give you this on your 14th birthday"

Mom is giving me a necklace made from stone but it looks like ice and is carved like a snowflake

"th-thanks mom" i was holding back my tears, i dont want to show weakness that's why i rarely show any emotion

"Your dad made this a long time ago, your dad use to make jewelries made from stone, he was well-known back then but someone took over the place, one of his companions threatened your dad so he had no choice but to give in. So please keep it safe and if you can, try to wear it everyday"

"i will mom thank you" i said while i was crying and rushed towards my mom and shizu, and i feel both of their embrace, deep inside i know shizu is a lot like me, trying to conceal her emotions, i don't know why but it feels like she's afraid to show weakness just like me

Woah shizu is actually Crying that's a very rare sight to see

"I love you both so much" mom said

"we love you too mom" said me and shizu

"Welp, um mom i better go to school" i said while walking out the door and picked up my bag "oh and thank you for the gift mom, shizu wipe off your tears you'll make the house flood"
