Personality:

Being the younger of Kunimitsu Tezuka , Meiko is always at the shadow of her older brother. But it did not stop her from pursuing her dream to become a great tennis player. She works hard to achieve her goal , often pushing herself to the limit. She looks up to her older brother , and is shown to be very much attached to him. She would always cheer her brother whenever he has matches. She admires him very much and strives to one day surpass him. Some people often consider Mieko to have an older brother complex.

She can come off as cold to others , because of her strong admiration for her brother. But there are people who were able to break down her icy barrier - mostly Echizen , Fuji , her older brother and Sakuno. She is somewhat a Tsundere at times. Although , she is bad at hiding her feelings , especially her huge crush on Shusuke Fuji.

Mieko is passionate in tennis. She enjoys playing against strong players. Because of her sole focus on tennis , she is awkward when it comes to social interactions with her classmates. Being anxious around people , especially those who would praise and look up to her. She is only comfortable around her teammates at the Tennis club , most significantly around her brother , Fuji and over time to Echizen.
