As the rain trickled down the car window Destiny sighed, moving house was bad enough without her brother being travel sick. She stared out of the window at the lush green forest she was having to say goodbye to. Her mother looked ahead but from the stiffness of her shoulders and the whitening of her knuckles showed that she was feeling anything, but the happiness the smile plastered on her face said.
As the sound of vomiting filled the peaceful car the smile faltered slightly. Destiny shuddered as the smell invaded her nose and she prevented herself from gagging.
"Destiny darling open the window." Her mother softly ordered as the trees turned into buildings and the countryside they once lived in faded like the memories of Destiny's father. Soon they arrived at their new home and stood under the over hang was a familiar man with the same colour hair as her own.
Her mother opened the car door and rushed to the man who met her half way. The man wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her gently. Destiny put two pieces together and realised the random man was her father. Her brother climbed out of the car, whilst still holding the most recent bag of sick.
"Mommy," Natsu whined. Her mother pulled away from the man and started to help Natsu (Natsu is Destiny's younger brother). Destiny's father looked up to meet her light violet eyes. He motioned for her to come out the safety of the car, but was greeted by a shake of the head. He shook his own head and walked towards the car and opened the door.
"Either you hate me or you don't remember me. I hope its the latter." Hizashi laughed, pain in his green eyes.
Guilt flooded through Destiny and she shook her head desperately, "It just took a few minutes for the memories to come back." She threw her arms around Hizashi, who fell back into a puddle from the force of Destiny lunging at him.
