I was crying and heaving everything out of me, he had dumped me. But for what? We had something so special. Music was echoing around my room, my parents had chosen the worst weekend to go away. My music paused as my phone rung, I picked it up, it was my best friend Zach.

"Hey y/n, are you alright?" Zach said, concerned.

"N-no... c-can you come o-over please?" I begged, crying into the phone.

"I'll be there in a few, hold on babe." I smiled at his nickname for me. We could call each other babe or baby all the time, it was normal. But when he said it then, it set off butterflies in my stomach.

I heard the front door open and I heard his footsteps come up the stairs. Zach slowly opened the door and came in, I was buried in my sheets in my ex's hoodie and some fabric shorts. Zach took his shoes and his coat off, before getting under the covers with me.

He stroked my cheek and whispered, "What's wrong, baby?"

"H-he broke up with m-me, he said h-he found someone b-better." I cried.

"Don't cry angel, you can't be replaced. He's so stupid for leaving you. You're so beautiful and so funny and so... perfect." Zach noticed my hoodie and shook his head, "That his? You need to change."

Zach took his hoodie off so I could see his bare torso and handed it to me. I took my ex's hoodie off and put on Zach's. I could feel his eyes on me the entire time.

"What?" I sniffed. Zach said nothing but lifted me onto his lap and kissed me softly.
