Jonah and I had always been really close because our parents were. I was hanging at Jonah's house when I noticed he was acting a little strange. But I ignored it.
A few hours later when I was saying goodbye, I said to Jonah,
"You okay? You were acting kinda strange today."
"Yeah, I'm just a bit nervous," Jonah mumbled.
"Why?" I smiled.
"I was wondering... if you wanted to go out... with me," Jonah muttered. I smiled and nodded.
The next day, the boys were at an interview so I watched it at home. Jonah was grinning the whole way through.
"Why're you so happy today, Jonah?" The interviewer laughed. There was silence as Jonah hung his head and smiled. He looked up and said,
"Because I got the girl."
