Solana POV

Lulama and I sat on the grass and just looked at the sky. "Would I be able to speak to you Lulama?" It's my 2nd to last day in Wakanda and the time just flew by. I kept drinking the iced tea that Lulama made me. "By the way this tea is really good." I complimented.

"Of course, Nomalanga and thank you." Nomalanga is the nickname she gave me for being in awe of the sunset. It means sunny in Xhosa. She said it matches me perfectly especially because of my name.

"I know you said no more thank yous. But thank you so much. This has been the best time of my life. You all have been so gracious and patient with me."

"You're welcome." She smiled at me.

"To be honest with you before I came here I felt so lost and I still do. But I don't know there is something about Wakanda that gives me peace. Sorry if I'm over sharing."

"It's fine. Why do you feel lost?" She nodded.

"Well I am about to graduate from college and I have no job lined up. My major is all about connections which I have zero of. I've been struggling to get for-credit work because of my lack of connections. When I compare myself to my peers, there are some who already have a 10 year plan and I'm stuck. I don't even know what tomorrow brings me. But hey I'm happy to be able to say that I've had such a life changing and unforgettable experience here."

"Hey what about your assignment? This project that you've been working so hard on. I'm sure it'll impress your professor."

"Im sure it'll impress her but I don't think she'll offer to mentor me over just one thesis." I shook my head and played with my hair. "I'm sorry I don't even know why I'm telling you all of this. I'm much more quiet usually." It's like I had no control of what I was saying.

"It's fine don't worry about it. You are welcomed back anytime. Everyone loves you here."

"Thank you and I love you guys. I really wish I had more time to spend here. I really wish more people gave Wakanda a chance. There's a lot the Western world could learn about Wakanda and the spirit of Wakandans."

"I think we're fine the way we are." Lulama smiled at me. I laid down and looked up at the sky.

Omniscent POV

"Absolutely not." Her best friend responded to her.

"I'm not asking for much."

"You want me to appoint a foreigner as a diplomatic representative or ambassador." T'Challa shook his head. "And you think that's not asking for much."

"Yes." She went to the unoccupied huts to speak to her best friend in private. After her conversation with Solana, she felt for her and wanted to do what she could to help her succeed.

"No." Lulama kissed her teeth at him. "Have you lost your mind? You're the Tourism Director. You work closely with the border tribe to keep outsiders out where they belong. And you want her to have a government position. I can handle anything with  international relations."

"May I remind you that people are getting more and more intrigued about Wakanda. I've found out that internet searches about our country has gone up after the tragedy in Vienna. One thing that I think people aren't understanding is why we refuse to receive foreign aid especially when we appear to be incredibly poor and a Wakandan monarch was recently killed in a terrorist attack."

"When we have someone like you and the border tribe, I don't worry about people being intrigued about the nation. You do an amazing job as it is." He humbly spoke.
