Phone rings.

ME: Hello, who's this?

SAMANTHA: Don't u look at the name before picking up the call?

ME: Sorry, but u don't have to be so rude, ya know.

SAMANTHA: Anyway I am not in the mood to scold nor argue with u. I only called to ask if u have thought of a plan.

ME: Do my ears deceive me? or did I just really hear that.

SAMMY: Whatever. Let's talk business.

ME: okay any luck with Pat?

SAMMY: yeah she's coming

ME: I hope it is of free will and not because she was threatened

SAMMY: U know me

ME: Let's just meet at her place later today

SAMMY: ok how about 3pm

ME: sounds great. Okay then. But inform her first, PEACEFULLY!

SAMMY: okay fine, no more threats, I get it, happy?

ME: bye.

SAMMY: bye

Later that day(3pm)

"hey guys" I said cheerfully.

"hey girlfriend, have u thought of anything yet" she said in her usual rude tone.

"If I did I wouldn't be wasting my precious time to come here to meet u two" I said more rudely than she did.

"ouch" Pat whispered and tap Sammy in pity on her shoulder. And Sam gave her the 'dare me to smack u face'

I threw my bag on the couch and pulled out the school's hallway map which I drew myself. "This is it" I said opening it. "That looks like a child's treasure hunt game's map" Sammy said pointing at it. I bow my head in embarassment, it was true it did look like that. With all the colours, dotted lines, pencil marks and a cheese ball stain. What I'm addicted. Then we just forgot about it, discussed what was needed to be done, made some changes, we concluded finally. Still not sure they understood a word I said. They just kept nodding and nodding and nodding and repeating the same dumb questions all over and over again.

"Brilliant!" Pat's said at last."good work"

"Yeah" said Sam. Don't know but I think I felt my cheeks getting hotter and my head getting bigger 😏. Suddenly a wave of pride run through me. I felt so proud of myself that I forgot what I was saying before they praised me.

"I'm still surprised u're single" mocked Sam, ruining my moment😒 like she always does.

"Yeah, I mean, beauty with brains" supported Pat. I really didn't get their point for so time now.
