4. I hope he's ok-Tris

As I was about to leave Physics I decided I would try an catch James who was in the maths room just down the corridor. I pushed my way through the bodies and there stood James McVey the bestfriend of the boy I've had a crazy crush on for years. This could go many ways.

"U-uh James do you...u-um know how I could maybe...u-uh contact Brad or see him or something?" I stuttered.

"Um, I don't thi-. Oh you're that boy that Brad has a major crush on." the moment he said that he slapped his hand over his mouth and his eyes went wide with realisation.

"oh" was all I could utter

"Um I suppose I could give you his number then." he slowly said.

I fumbled around in my back for my phone before handing it to him to put Brads number into it.

I thanked him and we shared goodbyes before we went our own separate ways.

Walking home I took the time I had alone to think what I was going to tell Brad when I got home.

I pushed the door open to an empty house and a small note left on the side. This wasn't normal I was usually engulfed in a huge hug when I walked through the door. I closed the door and walked over towards the note picking it up and reading it.

We're out at the moment at a friends house I hope you are ok we can have some family time later. We will be back for about 6 so we will cook dinner but you might want a snack. NO COOKING YOUNG MAN!

I really do love my parents, like a lot, a lot, and I love how they leave a little love note sometimes. I also wondered where they had gone. I decided against messaging them and just waiting until they were back.
