The Collector

Chapter 1

"Okay," ,his mother smiled before leaning on the counter ,"So, what do you ... want for your birthday? Only a day away."

"How about a ..."

*TV turns on and a video of a girl tied up hanging fighting to get free.While hanging in the air was being tortured by someone in a heavy black jacket comes on the screen*

"What the fuck?"

*The girl gags a agonizing scream as the black figure begins to pull out her eye with a pair of tongs*

"Josh!"

*The girl began to vomit, as she did the figure hummed a almost childish tune*

Josh and his mother quickly walked over to the TV and turn it off.

Josh checks the TV as his mother takes her cell phone from her jean pocket. The phone rings startling her, she drops her phone with a gasp. She slowly bends over and picks up the phone to see she got a message. Josh looked at her and asked if she was okay and she just nodded back at him. She selected the message and opened it to have pictures of the tortured girl shown. The mother gasped and covered her mouth.

"Mom, what is it?"

"It's that girl from the TV. I know who it was, it's Emily."

"What?!" ,Her son replied in shock and took the phone from her.

The mother went back into the kitchen and stopped frozen as she rounded the corner and faced towards the back of the hallway.

"Oh my god, this can't be happening. This has to be a joke mom. Mom?" ,he said before turning to her on her knees and crying.

The young man hurried to her side and knelt down beside her, "Mom it's some twisted joke."

The mother shook her head slowly, with head held low she slowly pointed down the hall towards the bedroom at the end. He looked to see an arm hanging, the son slowly stood up and drew his hunting knife from his belt and slowly walked down the hall. He carefully scanned every odd inch with knife ready in hand. When he reached the bedroom he slowly opened the door to see Emily hanging in the air. Her wrists and ankles were bound with rope attached to points anchored into the walls. Emily's naked body hung in the bedroom, eyes removed, bloody mouth opened as if still screaming. All of her teeth been pulled out and sat in a nice pile under her hanging body.

"What kind of monster could do this?" ,Josh said in shock as he spoke through his hand holding back the vomit fighting to rush out.
