Olivia's POV

I'm sitting at a booth, scrolling through social media when I hear the sound of the bell ringing, which indicates someone has walked inside.

I look up from my phone to see the one and only Billie Eilish.

She looks around the cafe when finally, her eyes land on me. She walks over to where I am, not breaking eye contact, causing me to blush.

I get out of my seat before she reaches the table to greet her.

Do I hug her? Do I just say hi? Do I shake her hand?

"Hey dude, what's good?" she asks as she goes in for the hug. I guess we are doing the hug greet then.

"Not much is good," I replied, "But things are looking up now," I flirted. Ew, that was gross why did I say that.

I sat down and motioned for her to sit across from me.

"It's great to see you again dude," she stated.

"It's great to see you again too," I responded. I was very curious still about why she invited me to meet up with her still, seeing as though I'm literally no one. I asked, "I was just curious why you invited me. I mean, I know we talked after your show, but I didn't think that you'd still want to talk to me."

"Well," she started, "When we were talking, I knew you had never really heard anything about me before so I knew the whole time we were talking you were being real with me. Nowadays it's hard to find people that are being real with me because they just want to use me for fame or money or whatever. You're a rare person, I just wanted to keep that real vibe around me, you know?" then in a goofy voice, she added, "Also, shut the fuck up with that "I'm no one," shit. Like, no you're not. You're a dope human being. Everyone is someone or something special dude."

I am truly in awe of this human being. She is probably the most down to earth person I've ever met in my entire life. I struggled to find the right words to say and she noticed, so she said, "Man I really didn't think I could make you speechless, I guess I just have that effect on everyone."

We both burst into laughter and a few minutes after our laughter died down she asked me, "So, the night that we met, I could tell that girl you were with was kind of rude to you."

"Rude to me?" I responded, "More like rude to you. I am so so so so sorry about her by the way."

"Why are you apologizing for her? If anything, she should be apologizing to you for treating you like an object and not a fucking human being."

"Yeah, you're right. I mean she isn't around to do that anymore anyways so.."

"What do you mean by that?" she questioned.

"I mean that after she did what she did last night, I confronted her. She admitted she had feelings for me but I told her I didn't see her that way and then she blew up and the next day she and all of her stuff were gone."

"Oh wow dude, I'm sorry about that."

"No, don't be! It's not your fault. I think the fact that she's gone is a good thing. Maybe, she'll realize her mistakes while she's gone. The only bad thing is that with her gone, there is no way I'll be able to afford rent. So I guess I just need to focus on that for now."

"Hey, I'm really sorry to hear that," she said empathetically, "If there is anything I can do to help, let me know and I got you."

"Thank you really appreciate it," I responded honestly, "I'll probably just get a second or maybe even a third job. Or maybe move into a smaller apartment. That's the one fucking thing I hate about LA. Everything is expensive."

"Don't forget the traffic," she laughed.

"Oh yeah, the traffic!" I joined.

"Hey I have an idea," she said more seriously, "How about, if you can't figure out a way to stay at your place, instead of getting two jobs or moving into a smaller place, you just stay with me?"

"Oh wow," I said speechless, "There's no way I could do that to your family. I don't want to burden you like that."

"Dude, I live with my brother Finneas. I moved out of my mom and dad's place. I decided I wanted to give them some space. Plus, it's a lot easier writing, singing, and recording when it's just him and I. Plus," she added, "You could never  be a burden."

I blushed so fucking hard at that moment I probably looked like a tomato.

"I'll think about it," I said shyly.

"Okay, but promise me if you ever  need a place to stay, text me."

"But first you have to give me your number," I responded. We've been dming each other on Instagram this whole time and I still didn't have her number.

"Oh shit yeah, give me your phone real quick."

I handed her my phone. Why would she trust me so easily? She barely knows me yet she's giving me her phone number. The fact that she trusts me enough to not leak her number means a lot.

"Here you go," she said handing my phone.

Checking the time on her phone she said, "Fuck, I have to go. I am so sorry, but I promised Finn I'd be at home soon so we could finish recording this song."

"Oh, it's fine! Sorry for keeping you so long."

"I'd stay longer if I could because then I could keep staring into your beautiful eyes but I promised him. But hey, maybe you can come over sometime next week and hear the song or I don't know, maybe we could hang out more?" she asked nervously

"Billie Eilish, are you asking me out on a second date?" I asked surprised

"Is that what you want it to be?"

"It is," I responded, feeling a little brave.

"Then it's a date." she smiled largely and got up from her seat and I got up from mine, also smiling largely.

She hugged me goodbye and as she was walking out the door, she stopped in the door frame and shouted, "See you soon babygirl."

I can't believe that just happened.

I'm going to go on a second date with the most beautiful girl in the world.
