Chapter 6

~Roman~

'I know that Virgil don't like being around people. So, why did he tell me not to worry?' I thought. I started to pace inside of Storm Cloud. I decided to take my usual seat and watch him work.

"Roman, could you stop staring at him," I heard a voice.

"Sorry, I'm just worried," I reply to Remy.

"I know but if you worry, he worries," Remy said, walking back to his post. I nodded and switch my focus to my phone. I heard the bell ring; signaling someone entered Storm Cloud.

"It's been a long time, Virgil, have it," Someone said.

"Yes it has," Virgil growled. I looked up from my phone to see a guy with a tattoo on his neck.

"This place is a dump," The guy said. I started to get angry.

"If you don't like it then leave," Virgil said acidy.

"Naw, since your here maybe we could do something later," the guy said, moving closer.

'That's it, I'm done with this guy,' I thought, moving closer to Virgil and the guy.

"What's your problem? Can you see he's not interested?" I growled.

"Oh, I see. You moved on Virgil," the guy said, walking out of the store.

"Who was that guy?" I asked, trying to calm down.

"A guy that I kind of went out with. No, we did not kiss or anything, like I said before you were my first kiss," Virgil said timidly.

"I believe but what was his problem?" I sighed.

~Virgil~

'Damien is in town and he know where I work. Oh god, I'm so dead,' I thought, "I don't know," I answered Roman's question.

"Virgil, are you okay?" Roman asked.

"Y-ye-yeah, I-I'm go-good," I stuttered. I'm terrified, now that I know that I'm not safe here anymore.

"Virgil, it's time to close for the night," Remy said.

"O-okay," I said, started to close up and double checking everything.

"Cousin, do you want me to stay the night or have Roman?" Remy asked. I looked and notice that Roman is still here.

"I'm fine really," I smiled and trying to finish up the cleaning.

"Fine, Roman can you stay here with Virgil?" Remy asked Roman. I started to shake at the thought of Damien.

"Virgil, your going to be fine," Remy said, before leaving. I nodded and locked the door behind him and close the metal doors and windows.

"Virgil, I didn't know that you have these here?" Roman said confused.

"Yeah want to make sure no will break in," I chuckled awkwardly.

"Okay, what's really going on?" he asked, getting straight to the point.

"Fine, the guy that was in earlier, " I said, looking down at the floor.

"Yeah he was short of your ex," Roman said.

"He scares me, really bad and now that he knows where I work. It's scares me of what he might do," I said, breaking down.

"Is that why Remy asked; if you wanted him or me to stay with you for the night," he question. I nodded. Roman moved closer to me and pulled me into a hug. I nuzzled into the warmth of his body, "Don't worry. I won't let him hurt you," Roman whispered softly into my ear.
