"Well it all started ...

Now- Virgil~

I was think on how to explain all of this to Roman.

"Well it all started in middle school.  I  knew that I wasn't normal because I didn't like girls.  So, I tried to act like I do which it turn out that I'm pretty good actor until I met Damien. He made me feel things that I never felt before but when I hit high school everything went down hill, pretty fast," I said, thinking about what to say next, "Damien was nice but I notice his act coming from a mile away but I  guess my heart wanted it to be more," I said, gripping my shirt where my heart is. The memories hurt to much.

"Virgil, I'm sorry," Roman said, sweetly.

"It's fine," I said, trying to gather enough courage to continue, "Well anyways, I started to get notes and threats from someone. I found out it was Damien. I didn't understand at the time, that he was only going out with me because of a stupid prank. The others students started to joy in on the prank. I started to doubt myself every day. That when I came to the conclusion of cutting but then I just wanted to ended it. I tried to find the positive in life with my family but it just wouldn't help with the self-hate," I continued, "I  wanted to wait to ended it until the last day of my senior year, but my moms said that I can move into the city and start my dream job here. So I took it," I concluded with a sigh.

"So, what made you want to do it again?" Roman asked shyly.

"Your ex, Lela, said  something along the line of just die. I started to get flashbacks of my high school years and I guess I thought I had no one to turn to for help," I said, looking up at Roman. Roman looked at me sadly.

"Now, I understand. I'm sorry, Virgil. I'm truly am, I wish I knew what she was thinking when she asked me earlier but I was so blinded. I'm so, so sorry for everything. I wish I could have done something to stop her from doing it. I'm sor-," I pulled Roman into a kiss to make him shut up when I hear a soft moan coming from Roman.  I pulled away. I looked at Roman and saw him in a blushing mess.

"Roman, are you okay?" I asked, worried about him being quiet.

"I'm... wow..., " Roman muttered, looking me in the eyes.

"Roman?" I asked.

"Just wow... Umm... Can we kiss again?" Roman asked seductively. I blush at the change of his tone. I nodded. We close the gap between us.  We pulled apart; out of breath and out of mind.

"ha ha... this was new," I said in between breathe.

" I agree," Roman implied, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Don't you have work or something?" I asked.

"Danny gave me three weeks off. So, I can keep an eye on you," Roman said.

"Okay," I reply, wrapping my arms around his neck, "I still have to work though," I remembered.

"I don't mind plus I think your moms are coming to visit in a few days," he said.

"What?" I screamed, getting up and almost falling over.

"Whoa, hold on.  Your still recovering," Roman said, catching me.

"Thanks but I need to get this place clean and Storm Cloud in order," I expressed.

"Remy, Your uncle and I have been running Storm Cloud while you was asleep," Roman said, pushing me gently down on the bed.

"Okay but I should get up and move around," I suggested.

"Yeah," Roman replied. I slowly got out of bed. Roman help me walk around my apartment.

"Can we head down to the store?" I asked, looking up at Roman. He nodded. We walked down the stairs and into the book and café shop. I see smiling face. It look more busy the normal. I looked around and see Remy talking to my uncle.

"Virgil, how are you?" My uncle asked.

"I'm fine but what's going on?" I asked, looking between Roman, my uncle, and Remy.

"Well, I was talking to uncle here about hiring some more employees," Remy said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Okay, so did you hire someone?" I questioned.

"No, we haven't yet but now that your here. We can do interviews," My uncle said.

"Okay, so who want to work here?" I asked. Remy handed me a stack of papers.  I look through them, "I will start the interviews tomorrow," I said, headed back up stairs. I looked back at Roman. I notice that he was starring at me with concern.

"Virgil?" Roman asked.

"Yeah," I said.

"Are you sure you want other people here?"  He asked.

"Well at some point, I have to get  out of my comfort zone at some pint," I said, slowly walking up the stairs.

"I guess but you shouldn't force yourself," Roman said.

"Yeah but if I don't I will be stuck at the same spot for the rest of my life. That's why I moved to the city and opened up this shop," I announced. Roman seem to smile at my little speech.

"Of course," he said, walking up the stairs behind me.

~Time Skip~ Roman~

I walked slowly behind Virgil worrying that he might fall backwards. Once we got to his apartment part of the building, Virgil walked over to his couch and set the stack of paper on the table.

"Virgil, what are you doing?" I asked him.

"Looking over some papers," Virgil said, picking up a few sheets of paper.

"You need rest," I added.

"I know but the more workers I have the better hopefully," Virgil said, taking a deep breath.

"Really?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"Yeah, I know Roman anti- social but give me a break," He said, looking at me with a tired look.

"Alright have it your way but hollower, if you need me," I stated, walking into the room that I have been staying in. I changed into some pjs when I heard a thud.  I quickly ran out of  the room and see Virgil trying to get back on his feet.

"I'm fine, I just slipped," He said. I notice that he's shaking. I picked him up and carried him back to his room, "Roman put me down. I have to finish."

"You can finish in bed," I snapped. I felt him tense at my tone of voice, "Sorry that I snapped."

"No your not. You hate me and I know you do," Virgil  declared. I put him on the ground outside of his room. I forced him to looked at me.

"I do not hate you. I love you and you talking about yourself making me feel like I want to die and you keep pushing me out making me like you don't love the same way," I said, trying so hard to hold back the tears.

~Virgil~

I knew I put to much pressure on Roman. What he said at this moment is something that I wanted to hear, that I need to hear.

"I love you too, Roman. I thought I put to much pressure on you. I don't want to lose you because you're my only reason to live besides this shop. I lost so much and losing you. I-I-I wouldn't know-," I was cut off by something warm and soft press against my lips and the sweet smell of Vanilla.

"You could never lose me," Roman said, pulling away from me. I feel his hands on my cheeks, making me look at him, "Because I love you and I don't want to lose you either, my dark prince."
