After the initial rush imposed by Talents' R Us to find the perfect face, and body, for the upcoming advertising campaign, things had slowed down a bit. Not being the kind to sit around and wait for the wind to carry him places, Roxbury had used the downtime to take Layla around to different locations in and out of the city to build up her photo book.
He tried to imagine what kind of emotions, and products, Layla could be better suited to represent and guided her to express them. He took her to abandoned brick buildings from the 19th century and photographed her among the dust and broken windows, her natural beauty a powerful contrast to the state of disarray of the background. That would be a perfect ad for a car.
They also spent a day outdoor in a small park just south of Patterson, NJ, approximately an hour Northwest of the city. The scenery there was perfect and offered a diverse environment, from a few poses by the river bank in front of an old railroad bridge to a softer approach in a blooming field, Roxbury captured the wide array of sensations Layla could express with a smile, a look or a daring pose.
The pair got a few cheers and whistles from a group of teens riding their bikes as Layla was standing in a bright yellow bikini in a field of tall grass, her legs parted and a pouting mask on her otherwise delicious face. The shot had turned out to be the best of the day when Roxbury captured her surprised reaction as she turned her head towards the testosterone driven pack of teens.
They improvised and decided to spend the night at a small Bed and Breakfast they caught sigth of from the road. The lady who welcomed there was so sweet and caring that they had to fake headaches to finally be allowed to retreat to their room after a festive home-prepared meal.
The room was spacious and well decorated. There were many items that looked as if they had been bought new in the 1800's and had never left the house. Instinctively, Roxbury grabbed his camera and immortalized the old bedroom for good.
In an elevated corner of the room, Layla couldn't hide her excitement as she stood in front of the bathtub.
"Oh. My. God!" She said, prompting Roxbury to lower his camera down and turn around.
"Nice..." He simply said.
But Layla was truly touched by the old copper bathtub placed before her. It looked as if it had been brought in from an old western saloon, since clearly it had been built before plumbing was ever invented. A hose was now connected to it, so Layla turned on the water and undressed.
Roxbury took a few more shots as she did so. The lights were very weak in the old room and the sound of the water filling up the tub added to the sensation of peace they were now both feeling. It was as if they had time-travelled to a time where people travelled on horse backs and knew to take the time to actually relax after a long day.
Roxbury placed the camera next to the bathtub just as Layla stepped inside it and slid down across one end, the steam of the hot water opening the pores of her tan skin.
Roxbury wasn't sure they'd both fit in the obsolete bathroom apparatus but he also knew for sure he'd use a shoehorn if he had to, because he wasn't going to pass on the opportunity.
As he slid in from the other end, the water level quickly rose and threatened to go over the lower side of the tub towards the middle. Roxbury found a jar holding bath salts and he threw in a handful in the water, then grabbed the water hose and directed it at Layla. She playfully splashed him, making her beautiful breasts bounce before his eyes.
"That was a great idea..." Layla whispered as she lowered herself even more. She tried to make herself comfortable and realized the only way to do so was to place at least one leg over the side. She placed both, knowing full well she wasn't being much of a lady like this.
