I woke up at my usual time..."yaaar... toady is Monday....why do weekends fly away and weekdays drag like snail?"muttering to myself I came downstairs rubbing my eyes..

"Cha cha cha....no manners for this girl... sleeping till 7 in the morning?don't you have any shame?your parents taught you nothing..."
My grandma started shouting with distaste..

My laziness flew away in a micro second and replaced by anger and guilty at the same time...I looked at her with puffy eyes and messy hair...

"See she didn't even ask my well being...no respect for elders"before she can continue,I came forward to ask but my mom pushed down to touch her feet...

She finally satisfied with my gesture and sat again...such a nagging granny...no one should have...I thought myself facepalming

Finally I pushed myself to get ready for another long week...

While leaving for bath,my parents stopped"sashi we will leave to our village to look after the conditions of our house ..we need to make arrangements na...will return by late night...cook the dinner for you and grandma in the evening..."

I bathed,prayed,had breakfast and rushed to office...there goes my most friendly colleagues... looking grumpy as always...

Today I have no site visits,no current projects nothing..I just sat in my cabin and lost in my thoughts about wedding...of course...it's my wedding with my love..I opened the Evernote app on my mobile and started to list out things to do and buy for the marriage... finally satisfied with the list,I switched off my mobile...

Whole day I had no work..I browsed some plants for gardens,I drew some plans,doodled in the meanwhile
..finally clock strike 5,I literally ran from the office after biometrics...

I drove to home...on the way,I stopped at the sweet shop..I remember my grandma liked sweets..to pamper her I need to do all such things..I bought sweets and went home.. parking my scooty,I walked inside humming a song...but the scene before my eyes made me a statue...

My grandma is ruffling abhi's hair and laughing... believe me...forget about laughing,Its only 2-3 times I have seen her smiling...that too in my childhood...here she is pampering my husband and scolding me...

As I walked into the house slowly,Abhi stood up and dragged me towards her.. laying his shoulder around me,he said.."how's my wife?"

Her face fell the minute he speller me..."she is spoil,child...you should have choosen better one"

My blood started boiling..."do you think so granny?"Abhi questioned looked at me...my face is as red as tomato...

And they both laughed...I forcefully was trying to take his hand and go away,he formed his grip and said"I can't get anyone better than her granny..she is my best half.."saying that he kissed my cheeks....

"Spare my eyes God..."my granny closed her eyes..I was angry, embarrassed outside but melting inside..."I love you.."we whispered before my grandma opened her eyes...

I stood and gave her sweets I bought"oh my grand daughter is trying to flatter me now...too poor of me I have diabetes now"she said and smiled...

"I just remembered that you liked sweets so I bought them..."I said and tried to move away...then she held my hand"it's okay child...but my decision won't change" she said looking at Abhi.

"What happened?"I enquired

"I said that you both should not meet till the marriage...you should stop seeing each other... understand?"she started taking dig into sweets
