"You can take a day off."
Kyungsoo pretends to be startled by it. He only nods, grim. He'd have asked what happen, if he hadn't see Jongin's girlfriend stride out of his office, tears in her eyes, yet she walks away strong. Kyungsoo had immediately entered the office, just to make sure Jongin hadn't regressed, or if he wants to go home or something.
"I want a day off, too," Jongin has clearly been crying, too. Kyungsoo clenches his fist to stop himself from coaxing him, holding him and take care of him. "Can you do that, Kyungsoo-hyung?"
It stings a little, it's always either Kyungsoo, or Daddy, never Kyungsoo-hyung. He nods. "Of course," he hesitates, but looks at Jongin expectantly. Just in case. "Anything else, Jongin?"
Jongin bites on his lower lip, looking between his personal assistant and his desk. It's where they keep a small packet of Winnie The Pooh bandaids. It's put beneath Jongin's suit, or any clothing he wears, to make sure he's some sort of comfort when he can't fully become a little.
"It," Jongin's lips quiver, and he points his at his heart. "It hurts here, Daddy."
Kyungsoo immediately wraps his arms around Jongin's midriff, guiding him to the desk, he opens the bandaids, and let's Jongin unbutton three buttons, before he carefully puts a bandaid over his heart. "Pooh will make it better," he mutters, pressing a kiss on Jongin's temple. Jongin's arms wrap around Kyungsoo's waist, and he buries his head in Kyungsoo's shoulder.
"Daddy can take a day off, really," Jongin mutters. He's becoming a little incoherent in between the sobs, but Kyungsoo knows him. "Jonginnie will be fine."
"Oh no, baby, no," Kyungsoo rubs his back, carefully making him sit in the chair, and kneeling in front of him. "Daddy can't leave his baby boy with a booboo."

Their day off is spent in Jongin's house, Kyungsoo spends an hour cancelling and rescheduling Jongin's meetings, while Jongin sits near his legs, colouring everything in the wrong colour. The sky is green, the frog's body is fully black, and the water is brown.
He shows it to his daddy, pouting and not really paying attention to the TV show Kyungsoo put on to make him feel better. It usually gets Jonginnie giggling like crazy, but not today, apparently. "Why is the frog black, baby?"
Jongin looks at him, still pouting. "Because," he struggles for a second, then looks at his feet, pushing his toe against the carpet. "Frogs are bad."
"Jonginnie," he says, stern look. "Why would you say that? That's mean."
Jongin starts crying, and hugs Kyungsoo, his head rested on Kyungsoo's chest, his butt pushed back. Kyungsoo shifts around, so Jongin is laying on him. Then strokes Jongin's hair, cooing comforting words.
"It hurts a lot, Daddy," he sobs. "Heart hurts a lot and I don't know what to do," he hiccoughs, "it's not going away!"
He whines some more, almost for twenty minutes, before he's asleep. He cries himself to sleep and Kyungsoo can't do anything about it. Now his heart aches, and he takes the Tigger bandaids from the coffee table, and puts it over his heart. Hopefully, Tigger will make it better.
