Ancestors.

Bridgette's POV
Nothing. We were standing in nothing. It was just white, like plain white. Heck I wasn't sure if we were standing! But, what I do know is that our hair is glowing. Mine was gold and blue while Marinette's hair was glowing dark blue and pink.

"What is happening?" Marinette asks confused.

"I don't know. Did we die? Is this Heaven?" I say.

It was all quiet until, "You didn't die silly!" A voice laughed. It was soft and high-pitched so I knew it belonged to a woman.

"You two are merely in your minds." Another voice said. It also belonged to a female.

"Say what?" Both Marinette and I say in unison and suprise. In our minds? Well that's not creepy at all.

Suddenly, we were standing infront of a palace. It looked just like ours, we were standing outside but instead of seeing cars, we saw carriages? And, everything looked like it was old. I mean people were wearing dresses that were flowing till down. Wagon were being dragged everywhere and the place looked greener.

"Welcome to the past!" The what now?!!!!!

"Huh!" Marinette exclaims.

"Bruh! This is getting creepier by the minute!" I exclaim. "You got to be kidding me right?!" Suddenly two figures stood before us.

One pretty blue, red and black hair flowing down till her feet which was mixed blue which meant she has- well had- the power of water. She was wearing a red long-sleeved dress that was flowing down to the ground, a golden belt that had a red jewel at the center, black sandals and the dress had a cape. The other had incredible pale white eyes, white hair that flowed down to her feet but it wasn't mixed with anything so it either meant that she didn't have powers or she had the power of snow. She was wearing a white dress that flowed down to the ground as well, it had a white snowflake on the middle of the chest, a long flowing cape and white sandals.

"Hello Bridgette and Marinette!" They both greeted, "Welcome to the past. This is when we ruled over China." Kammah explains

"Okay so you must be princesses Kammah and Tikki." Marinette says slowly.

"Excatly!" Tikki smiles. "So you two are our ancestors?" I ask which I think must've offended cause they had frowns on their faces.

"Ancestors?! Why it can't be that long can it? How long has it been?" Kammah asks.

"300 hundred years." I say uneasily cause of how they had shocked faces. "Oh." Was the only thing that came out of Tikki's mouth.

"Um.. But! Let's not pay any attention to that okay? We are actually here cause we need answers." Marinette quickly says. "Nice save!" I whisper to her to which she nods her head.

"Right!" Tikki's face beamed, "Since you two are new at being royals so this is all new for you as well."

"Tell me about it." I rolled my eyes.

"Anyways before we explain anything, how about we show you on how we royals got our powers in the first place." Kammah said before clapping her hands.

We were suddenly in a cave it was dark but our hair was the only sources of light. "We can't see a thing it's too dark!" I say.

"Don't worry about that!" Tikki giggled before suddenly the whole cave was lit up by crystals that shines in different colours.

They were red crystals, blue crystals,pink crystals, green crystals, yellow crystals, grey crystals and white crystals. It was actually beautiful but the thing that mostly bought out the attraction were the three staffs. One was glowing gold and it had a sun on top if it, I could suddenly feel my energy was building up like it was calling me. The other one was silver and dark blue and it had a crescent moon on top and I'm pretty sure Marinette was enjoying the feeling. But, the last one was the black one that was surrounded by dark flames. It was really scary not gonna lie as it was radiating a dark energy. It was so cold and evil, like everybit of hate, rage and sorrow was put into that staff.

"It's so dark." I say not even taking my eyes of it. I then felt a comforting hand on my shoulder and as I looked I found Kammah staring at me with a smile, "It's okay, I felt the same way you did when I was brought here."

I nodded. This is all so confusing.

Marinette's POV
The dark staff was giving dark vibe. But, just like the silver staff I was connected to it somehow. "Guys this staff.... I feel a connection." I say uneasily.

"It would make sense Marinette, you represent the Moon so you have a connection to the night which also means the darkness." Kammah explains.

"Anyways what's this all about?" Bridgette asks.

"This is the place that gave all royals powers." Tikki starts, "These crystals represent each element as you can tell by their colour."

"But what about these staffs?" I ask.

"These staff represents the three most powerful element which are Sun, Moon and Blood." Kammah says.

"Blood is an element?" I ask.

"Yes, it's a element to control over life itself. One can give life and take it away." Kammah says but then we hear a noise.

"What's that?" I was terrified not gonna lie. "It's okay, that's that Princess Valerina the first princess of China." Tikki says.

Then, a woman with brown hair that reached her shoulders and brown eyes came in. She was wearing a green dress with sleeves that show her shoulders, a golden belt was in middle of the dress and she had on green sandals. She had on golden metalic gaulets and had a golden necklace around her neck.

"This is amazing!" She whispered quietly looking around the cave," I never seen so many crystals. It's absoulety gorgeous."

"Princess Valerina was here on vacation with her family, she was exploring the caves until she landed in here." Kammah explains.

"Can she see us?" I turned and saw Bridgette standing right behing her.

But before I could yell at her to get away Tikki says, "No this already happen we're just watching it replay." I gave her a glare which she daringly returned.

Anyways Valerina continued to wonder across the cave until the green crytals started glowing brighter and brighter. "What is happening?" She asks a little terrified in her tone.

She went towards the crystals and when she touched them they was a bright blast from them. After the brightness cleared up she was transformed, instead of her shoulder length brown hair, it was going until her feet mixed with green and her eyes were mixed with green also. Then the other crystals startes glowing at made a sequence pattern and hit the three staffs and whisked away.

"Oh heavens! What happened to me?" She asked them when she touched the ground a beautiful flower grow.

She looked taken back before doing it again, "So it is me that's doing this! I have magical powers!"

Wow she figured that out fast!

Then after that we were back to the castle. "So you see how it all started?" Kammah asks.

"So thanks to Valerina's curiousity we have powers?" I ask. "Indeed, from then on after Valerina died, the next queen got the power of Water, the next power of Earth, the next the power of Snow and you get the chain." Tikki says.

"Yeah we get it. But, what powers are we gonna get?" Bridgette asks.

"Well let's see- Oh my goodness!" Kammah gasps as she looks at us, "It can't be possible could it Tikki?" I looked at Tikki who had the same dumbfounded look.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Um girls uh- after you get your powers contact us immidiately okay?" Tikki says frantically.

"Okay." Bridgette says unsurely, "Bye!" We waved and before we knew it we were back in our hotel room.
