Someone tapped your shoulder just as you were about to hop in your car. You turned around, on alert. Your previously tensed shoulders relaxed, looking at who it was.

"Jimin, you scared the shit outta me. Do you need anything?" You asked, eyes shimmering in the reflection of the moonlight casting on your face.

"Yeah. Are you okay? You look..." he trailed off, not knowing how to get his words out. You seemed so different to him at the moment. You weren't the strong, independent, self-risking Y/N he knew. He knew, from the moment he saw you today, that something was definitely up. You looked paler, thinner, and the eyebags showed that you didn't just lose weight.

"I'm fine. Why does everyone keep asking me that?" You chuckled lightly, slowly tuning it down into a strained one.

"You don't look fine. I'd make you drive to a cafe near by so we could talk but I have to get back to the party soon. Can we please talk sometime?" Jimin rubbed his nape, feeling discomfort at the thought of going back to all the probably already drunk people at the party.

"Sure. It's been a while, and I'm not used to it." You gave him a small smile, indicating your sincerity.

Jimin nodded, smiling back, before giving you a final goodbye as he walked back into the party. You drove home, one thought clouding your mind.

You huffed as you laid down on your bed, hoping to get some sleep soon, but that thought, that annoying thought that wouldn't seem to go away anytime soon kept you up.

And no, it wasn't like you were thinking of a million scenarios or possibilities, it was just a question, a question you wouldn't seem to get over until the time came where you got an answer.

That night, you fell asleep thinking you'd never get an answer to your question.

trying guessing what the question is.. <3
