Mum continued to deteriorate internally in health till the year 2019, After the chrismas holiday, Mum told her children and husband to go back to Aba,that she wanna work on her farmland, little do we know that it will be the last Time we will see mum in a healthy condition. We left her and came to Aba our school was on strike. 3days later,dad received a phone call that mum was seriously I'll. Dad left Aba to the village the next day leaving my younger ones in my care.
Mum was taken to federal teaching hospital Abakiliki for her treatment and was diagnosed of liver,kidney problem and High blood pressure.
The started the treatment and 7days before her discharge, the first dialysis was performed on Mum. 5days before her discharge, the second dialysis was performed on Mum.
A day after her discharge, they came back to Aba.when I saw mum,I couldn't hold myself but shed tears because from Mum's stomach down to her toes was super swollen, Mum couldn't move about freely,she was in great pains. But her words always was that she will live to see our children (her grand children) .
4days later,
Mum gave up on life,she gave up on us,she left us to fend for ourselves, I saw her struggling for her life but I was useless at that point in time. Mum left without enjoying the fruit of her labour. I don't have anything to say.
