A 17 year old Anna Barron just got home from school. She'd already had a pretty crappy day. She hadn't seen her boyfriend (Brian Philips) all day at school, then she heard from her best friend, (Betsy Anders) that her boyfriend was cheating on her with some girl from school named "Amber Karmickle". Apparently, Amber had just found out this morning that he was with Anna too, so she spent the whole school day trashing him to all of his classmates. Now Anna had to go and call her soon to be ex-boyfriend, confirm the news, and dump his butt. But first Anna was gonna go to her kitchen, get a Coke, and take her phone call to her room so if her parents got home they wouldn't hear the problem, I mean then they'd probably be all like "see I told you" and she just wasn't in the mood for it,  So she went to the kitchen, but then she saw there was already a Coke out,  opened, and clearly drank out of it.

Anna: Mom?.... You here?.... (she called out while looking for her)

She heard a noise behind herself, then something came from behind and smacked her right over the mouth and nose so she could hardly breath,  let alone even make a sound. She could of sworn the impact broke her nose and she felt blood leek from it. She tried to scream, but when she did she ended up inhaling a mouth full of alcoholic fumes and just like that she passed out.

Commander Steve Mcgarrett was so tired. It had been a long case filled week, they'd had 3 murder cases,
One of a drug addict who was killed by a bounty hunter still on the loose, another which they had just finished up that day, and another was the murder of a Marine who was home on leave, but had committed suicide before he could go back, Of course before 5-0 got involved no one knew it was suicide, Then again the kid was pretty clever in doing it too. He had framed it on an ex girlfriend who cheated on him two years before he went into the military. Steve couldn't believe that the kid would do that, waste it all just cause of some dumb ex. I mean the kid was wicked talented, he had been a marine for only six years, and dies at the age of 26. And he wasted his life on revenge that failed in the end anyways.

Steve was just happy to be home for a little bit, just him and a couple of longboards, oh yeah and Catherine when she got home from visiting Kono at the hospital, cause Kono had the flu, which meant yes, they had to work the last week without Kono, but now you can see why his week was so stressful and tiring.

Steve had popped the caps off 2 longboards 1 for him and 1 for Cath, when he heard the front door open automatically he thought Cath was home

Steve: Just in time. (he said before entering the hall caring both longboards)

Danny: Just in time for what? (Danny said looking at Steve) oh thanks, but actually we have to go, so there will be no need for these (he said taking the drinks from Steve's hands and setting them down on the end table)

Steve was surprised to see Danny and not Catherine

Steve: Whoa, that's not for you, and what are you doing here?

Danny: Oh, I tried calling, but someone turned his phone off. So I came to pick you up.

Steve: No, you missed the point, I turned my phone off so I didn't have to see you. Tonight was just supposed to be me, Catherine, and a couple of longboards. That's what I told you when I left HQ today.

Danny: Yeah, you did say something about that, however what you said at HQ today, no longer applies when we got a new case.

Steve: What? What's this one about?

Danny: Kidnapping of a 17 year old girl over in wal- wali- whatever uka of over in Muai

Steve: Wailauku?

Danny: Yeah, something like that.

Steve: Great! (he said sarcastically)

Danny could see his frustration, and he knew where Steve was coming from, I mean he's not the only one who's had a crazy week. He had to work hard too, but Danny decided that he would just leave it be.

Danny: Shall we go? ( he said opening the door)

Steve: Let's go. (he said taking Danny's keys and getting into the drivers seat)

It was a pretty quiet car ride to the crime scene do to both of their frustration. When they got there, they saw Chin was already there.

Steve: (sigh) Alright Chin, what do we got?

Chin: Well don't you sound thrilled?

Steve just looked at him, and Chin knew what that meant. It meant "I'm not in the mood so cut to the chase"

Chin: Ok. (he said quietly under his breath) Our missing Vic is a 17 year old girl by the name of 'Anna Barron', parents say they got home late last night and went strait to bed instead of checking on her like they normally do, but when they went to the kitchen this morning they saw blood on the floor, so they searched the house and called Anna's name, when that failed they started calling Anna's friends to see if she was at any of their houses, but no one had seen her since the day before at school her. Parents called police a little while after that and then then police called us.

Catherine: I know, aren't we lucky? (She said playfully as she walked up into the conversation) What is that, number 3 this week?

Chin: Come to think of it, it is.

Steve: Hey, I was waiting for you earlier, but instead he showed up. (he said gesturing to Danny)
