"MOM THESE PEOPLE ARE CRAZY IM SORRY I SAID I WANTED TO BE PART OF OUR PACK!" I shout, interrupting their reunion.

"Hush up Parker your embarrassing me." My mom hisses.
I roll my eyes and slouch back in my chair.
"So, she has returned, nice to have you back - Luna. But your nothing but a rouge now, your power means nothing here." Gamma Tristan crosses his arms and stares my mom down. Other members of the pack, probably important people, are behind him. My mom growls, her wolf bears her teeth.
All of a sudden, it hits me, "Luna? Mom you were-"
Before I can finish my mom swiftly runs towards me and bites the rope, allowing me to wiggle out of the chair and stand. Other wolves start blocking the exits and my mom sneers.
"Okay, what's going on here," I shout to nobody.
But someone does answer, "She didn't tell you?" Gamma Tristan shakes his head. "Your mother killed her husband, our alpha." Tristan's eyes narrow.
"My mom is not a killer TRISTAN," I say, enunciating his name to emphasize the fact that I didn't address him formally as Gamma. His eyes darken but he decides to ignore me.
I turn back to my mom for confirmation, but she lets her gaze drift to the floor, and my eyes start to prick with tears.
"Well come on, tell them mom, you didn't kill the alpha," I say, my voice cracking a bit.
My mom transforms to her human form, and looks older than she did before. Her eyes are tired, her shoulders slouched, she looks defeated.
"I will allow myself to be taken under your custody if you promise me that Parker will be allowed back in the pack, and the restriction on her wolf is lifted. Grant her a place to live with my mom, she would like it there." My mom gives me a sad smile and my mouth drops.

"NO! What proof do you have!" I walk over to Beta Leo and stare him directly in the eyes.

"His body was found, 11:34 p.m, Tuesday, he was sharpening a battle sword, but his death was caused by a broken neck. The only person in the Alpha's dormitory during that night would be the Luna." Beta Leo glances at my mom, disgust in his eyes.

Meanwhile, Gamma Tristan ponders over my mom's offer, "alright." he finally says, "you have yourself a deal."

"Whatever she knows too much anyway." I hear a couple of people say behind me.

"What are you going to do with my mom?" I ask, a hint of anger in my voice.

"Just go away Parker, I should have just let you run away in the forest." Beta Leo says, as he attempts at pushing me out the door.

However, instead of just getting pushed out the door, I ram right into someone's chest. Someone tall, handsome, and around my age ;).

He looks down at me, his blonde curls bouncing up and down. His blue eyes gaze mine for just a second before he pushed me to the left and enters the building. All at once everyone begins to kneel, even my mom. I, on the other hand, am stupid - so of course, it takes me a few minutes to realize that he's the Alpha.

"If you want to be part of this pack, you're going to have to learn manners. Now kneel." Beta Leo says, eyeing me from his peripheral vision.

"Ok, so this tall, good-looking guys come in the room, pretending to have authority and look intimidating, and we are all supposed to what - be his servants? Look blondie," I state, as I stare deep into his blue eyes, "You're not intimidating me now tell me what's your business here and then get the hell out. Bring a few with you eh?" I playfully nudge him in the shoulder, trying to ease the mood.

"My name is Blake, and you are?" Blake offers his hand and I reluctantly take it.

"Hi... My name is Parker." Just as I finish my sentence Blake pulls me towards him and places his palm on my chest. I feel a warm sensation as well as something familiar and comforting - but that doesn't last long before I feel like the breath is knocked out of me and I'm leaning against a wall to balance. I can feel them, the bond between the pack members, but my wolf is still restricted. Jeez that's annoying.

"A-alpha?" I question, looking up at him, my hand still plastered on the wall so I won't fall.

"Welcome to the pack Parker. You've caused quite the commotion haven't you." He says, a playful smirk on his face.

"I'm causing the trouble! OH ILL SHOW YOU MISTER HIGH AND MI-"

"...ouch." I'm wheezing on the floor, my mom socked me in the stomache. You know how embarrassing that is? To have your mom literally scold you in public like your three years old when you're actually seven FUCKING teen.

Thankfully, everyone ignores the fact that I am curled up on the ground, "We are having no executions today," The alpha starts, his voice loud and clear, "that is not the way of our pack. Yea, I know it's been awhile, I got a little caught up, but that doesn't mean we can just kill someone who had once been in our pack. Someone who has been a friend, a mother, our Luna."

Everyone stares at the alpha, disbelief in their eyes but also understanding - and respect, just the first few minutes with him and I can tell he is a great alpha.

"Go, continue your life in the human world, but I'm afraid Parker knows too much. She will not be allowed to accompany you." The Alpha turns his back on his people and looks to my mom.

"Excuse me alpha, but why are you letting me get away?"My mom says, glancing up, a questioning look in her eyes.

"Because, a Luna would never betray our pack, at least not our Luna." Alpha Blake gives her a sad smile and then looks to me, before casting his eyes down to the floor.

"I will accept and leave immediately." My mom tries to speak with authority but I can tell something's off. Like she's both sad and happy at the same time. I wonder why.

"But Alpha-" Gamma Tristan starts but the Alpha returns a glare and he shuts up.

"Parker, you will stay with your grandmother." Alpha, looks to me and I stand up from having been sitting on the ground holding my stomach this whole time.

"My mom can come visit right?" I ask, a little scared for the answer.

"I am afraid that may unsettle the pack, you are free to visit her, as long as you are accompanied by another wolf." I gulp back tears. This all just happening so fast.

I want to scream but instead I just nod my head, knowing that this is the best option we're gonna get.

My mom walks towards me, I have so many questions but there isn't any time for answers, if only, if only we had more time.

"Be careful Parker, I love you." Before I could even say I love you too, she is gone.
