Alnicina Reine du Dragon walked quickly to the dining hall through the large hallways that looked more like extra long caves with a couple of torches sticking out of the wall here and there. She had been up all night because sleep just wasn't an option. Something was really wrong, she could feel it in her gut.
The banging and clashing from the dining hall flooded through the cavans under the twin mountains Nisha and Misha. Dragons and there riders had lived in these mountains for many millennia and the aincent dining hall was at the heart of the nest. That's what they called this cave system, the nest, everyone outside of the nest called it Nisha and Misha, or the home of the dragons, but to all the riders and dragons it was called the nest.
She looked up as she entered the cavernous room, several dragons were flying above, a golden one still had some meat hanging limply out of the corner of its mouth. The dragons could come and go as they pleased. Dragon and rider were equal in the nest.
She watched as an aqua dragon, named Krytron, sweeped down and landed lightly at the enterance, almost on top of her. Alnicina slipped out of the way just in time. Her second, Yaliya, dashed after the dragon, her frizzy red hair flowing behind her, as Krytron waddled out of the cavernous room.
Alnicina headed over to the head table where her partner, Tomathy, sat. He had dark brown hair and his eyes were almost pitch black.
Tomathys dragon, Efroak, was eating off his plate and tomathy was trying to push Efroaks head away, but his efforts weren't going so well.
She sat down next to him and grabbed a lamb chop off one of the many silver platters that lay before her.
"I'm going to Izlalu today," she mumbled before she cut open the meat, it was only half cooked, just how she liked it and s she cut deeper a little blood trickled out and onto the plate.
Tomathy looked shock for a couple of seconds before shrugging it off and returning to saving his chop, but alas, Efroak had stolen it and waddled away to Finnish it in one of the many corners.
Tomathy sighed and grabbed a peice of meat form a platter. Which is what he should have done long ago but, recently, he had been trying to stand up to Efroak and not let him get away with everything.
"So what's the problem?" He finally sighed, "Something must be wrong otherwise you wouldn't go to that city."
He spat out city like it was a peice of rotten meat that he had to get off his toung pronto. He continued to cut into his chop and then looked at her with a worrying look. He worried too much about her.
Being the queen of the Harucan Dragon Clan, she had certain responsibilities, such as looking after the clan, although she wished that sometimes she could just disappear.

Her dragon, Moraniya, was lying down in the dragon quarters, her crimson scales, glittering in the dim torch light. Moraniya rose her beautiful head as Alnicina entered the tiny cave that had been set apart for her dragon. Stalactites hung from the ceiling like icicles and glimmered lightly. A harness having from the far wall. Alnicina walked over and grabbed the harness off its hook and proceeded in trying to harness Moraniya. The dragon, with no little effort in trying to thwart Alnicinas attempts to harness her but after thirty minutes on an intense struggle Alnicina ditched the harness and decided that would have to ride bare back if she was going to make it to Inlalu and Izlalu by mid day. It took three hours and thirty minutes to fly to Inlalu and Izlalu and five hours to get there if you went on horse.

Paege stood on a table in the designated dinning room and addressed her army."The Tamunians know we are here, so we are going to call in favores." She yelled above the murmurs that had filled the hall. "We are moving out tonight, get your things ready, your senior officers will give you more information when you are ready."
She jumped off the table and headed toward a blond man who was cleaning the underneath of his fingernails with a knife.
"Charli Higgins," she snapped, " your are now officially my second."
"What about Authiroa?" He inquired, still fully engrossed in cleaning his nails.
"Dead."
Charlis head shot up and the look of shock on his face was almost comercial.
"How do you know?" he gasped
"He wouldn't of sent out a distress signal if he was going to live for more than a few hours."
Charli bent his head and closed his eyes, obviously trying not Toby the tears breakthrough his blazing brown eyes. Paige watched him in pity.

Ravyne sat in the court room and waited for Syrera, Padala, and a few other dukes, duchesses, ladys and lords. She had call a meeting for just after mid day to discuss what she had discovered.
The man, Authiroa Higgins, had given in with a little persuasion. He was Paeges second and they were in the Dornier and going to attack as soon as he had returned. She managed to get a little more info out of him before she gutted him, stuff like, 'Paege will kill your bitch of an empress' and 'we know fate is on our side'. She had gotten really mad when he had insulted Syrera and well, she had seen red. That man hadn't lived to much longer. The doors swung open and in entered Syrera and the rest of the court. Syrera was in a beautiful red dress with a golden coat, and Ravyne couldn't help but gasp as she saw her.
